Things to do in Canovanas
The burrito's were topped with american cheese, very nasty flavor. The chicken taste like oregano. It was not as the people reviews

If you want to have fun and good fresh Mexican food at affordable prices the best choice in the area. Is not a quiet restaurant, they have life music and impersonators on weekend so he restaurant can be loud and crowded on the weekends. We celebrate our mom's birthday and had a blast. The prices are very affordable, big portions and variety.

I am still dreaming of the ceviche shrimp tacos. I have been scouring Pinterest to find a decent recipe to replicate. I also enjoyed the black bean soup. Husband was pleased with his skirt steak burrito - large and full of flavor. I asked the owner to surprise me with whatever mojito he wanted to make - and it didn't disappoint, though there was no english translation for the 'white fruit syrup' he used so I have no idea what I was drinking! My only complaint was they used disposable plates, silverware & the sampler was too small for the cost and my taste buds - yum. I know others said the throw away plates, etc... meant it was clean, I look at this as problematic as trash just builds up - it's an island - where are you going to put all this styrofoam and plastic? Wish they used real china and silverware.Locals seemed to flow in throughout our meal, always a good sign. Definitely would return to Cilantro if I find myself in PR again.
