Food was bland and plain, chips greasy. I felt quality was not very high. Needs to be updated badly. I would not go back, other mexican in the area is much better. Service was poor.

I have to say that this restaurant prepares some good food. Granted, I only get the cheese enchiladas w/beans and rice but it's some darn good food. The salsa and chips are done right as well. One of my two fave mexican restaurants in town.

We havenât travelled to Mexico much but have had a lot of experience with Mexican food in Tucson and other places in the southwest, and Escamilla Amigos compares quite favorably with the restaurants there. A pretty standard menu, dishes well-prepared, friendly and attentive service and reasonable prices (main courses between $10 and $14). A very pleasant experience and we will return.

We have been here numerous times and we are always pleased! Great food, great service and a great atmosphere! The restaurant is clean and inviting. The staff is friendly. We love that it is authentic Mexican food! Try the Lalo Shrimp, steak and chicken burrito! It is my favorite!

Where so no start? Fresh made corn tortilla chips and salsa were So Delicious! Guacamole is fresh made and it taste wonderful! I had the lunch special mix wet burrito with stewed beef and bean, it was Incredible!! Our waitress was very attentive and smiles the whole time a true dining experience. I am in Love with this little slice of Mexico! Ohh.. Try the Margaritas they are fantastic.

I enjoy eating here. I've eaten the seafood burrito a few times and it never fails to impress. Great portion size and okay prices. All three times that I've visited, the servers really didn't seem interested in any kind of social interaction, but that is just personal preference, I know.
