I love authentic Mexican food. This is not the place to find it. Most of it tastes like frozen then microwaved fare you can find at the supermarket. There is no real salsa, just different levels of hot sauce. More cheese sauce than cheese.
Our family lived in Mexico for ten years. I have looked for this type of food in many restaurants, but have only eaten food this authentic in the homes of my Mexican friends. This food is the real deal, authentic, delicious Mexican food. My respect for all of you who love Tex-Mex, but if you are curious about what food you would be served in a Mexican home or food stand, this is it!

The refurbished restaurant was nicely done and the staff were accomodating. The food was good, but I thought the menu was somewhat limited with beef and chicken entrees, but few other choices. The salsa could have been spicier , in fact the entire meal seemed to be toned down for American taste.
At Taco John's®, we serve traditional Mexican food-with a twist. By fusing bold American flavors with south-of-the-border spice, we've defined our signature menu. From our trademark Potato Olés® and freshly prepared tacos to our infamous breakfast burrito
The inside doesnât have enough seating. Ended up sitting at a table with other people. The Potato Oles were good but just like Hardeeâs hash rounds with some light seasoning on them. They were good but there is no ketchup and you have to buy the nacho cheese separate to go with them. The âSuperâ burrito is advertised as being huge and basically stuffed full of all that comes in it as seen in the pictures. It wasnât anything like that. Barely any meat and more so lettuce and tortilla wrap than anything else. Also the beef taco salad had barely any meat in it. Very disappointing. Only plus was the house salsa available at the Salsa bar.

El Charro has a variety of Mexican food choices. Their service is quick and their food never disappoints! Many of our friends and family love eating here at least once a week as the price is economical for the amount of food served. You will not be disappointed in visiting El Charro!

Been going here for years and haven't never been disappointed. The wife had Japanese this time, rice and Yakanu (beef strips). I had the Street Tacos, Carne Asada and Carnitas. Both meals were excellent. The service was good, friendly and quick. There was a minor issue with part of our order. But that was quickly taken care of. The prices are reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get. We ended up taking some home for an evening snack. It's nice to have Wasabi here in a town full of fast food places. It's our "go to" place. We have tried most of the menu and recommend all of it. Only thing missing, they do not serve alcohol, so no Margaritas.
Where to eat American food in Bronston: The Best Restaurants and Bars
This was a very disappointing stop during our vacation. Especially, with previous reviews, and at the recommendation of a friend. Took our family of five there, service was nothing short of horrible. Only three tables seated, food came out in pieces as they were not sure which one of the three tables the food went too. We ordered their recommended hamburger, a cheese steak, and a couple appetizers. NOTHING is fresh made, everything tasted as it was right from the shelf at GFS. tried a muffin and a donut as well, tasted as though they were about a week old. Extremely disappointed with this place, it bill was $74.00, and we could have gotten better food at McDonald's. Most of our food remained on the table when we left.

We go here for lunch quite a bit and it's excellent. The Mexican tacos (Choice of protein, Cilantro, and Onion) are fantastic and definitely one of the best I've ever had. My personal favorite is the Al Pastor taco. The Chip and Salsa bar is also very unique, several different choices of salsa ranging from mild to extremely hot. Great place to come for a quick bite to eat, as the food comes out fast and it's always hot. Prices are also very affordable. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the somerset area looking for some killer tacos!
