We decided to try this restaurant while in Bandera because of the reviews we read on Yelp. The staff was very nice and accommodating and the food was good. We waited awhile for chips/salsa and also for refills which didn't come. They were a little busy but not packed.

Our group had tacos, fajitas, enchiladas, chalupas, burritos and more. Everything was fresh, hot and just plain delicious. We shared everything and really couldn't vote a favorite. It was truly great food. The servers didn't hover but seemed to be there when we needed. We sat be a couple of Texas troopers and they said it is one of their favoties as well. You won't go wrong. It was raining like crazy outside but we just didn't notice.
Gringo's Burrittos is now in the space that Sid's BBQ occupied for years. Sid's BBQ was by far my favorite BBQ joint on planet earth, however the business decision was to replace it with something less costly to operate. Spotting the "Open" sign and needing something quick I gave it a shot. Brightly colored, clean lines and a set up which reminds me of the franchise Chipolte. My burrito bowl was very good and the crowd seemed to enjoy what they ordered. Fortunately, Sid is still involved, his son runs the show. Definitely will return.
