Simple, straighht forward menu with traditional Mexican options. Abides to the motto "keep it simple, make it good". Cosy atmosphere, often full. The also have a small bar section where you can hang out and enjoy a frozen margarita. Affordable and great value for money. Can't go wrong!

We are what you are looking for between nature and delicious Mexican food, we are at the edge of the lagoon and it is an experience that you have to live.
Stopped here for a quick lunch on our cycle and was not disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious and our waitress Kim was very attentive. Helped us pick our meals and explained the menu to us. She also went out of her way to give us some information about bacalar and the things we should check out. All in all an amazing experience. Make sure you come here. The ceviche and nachos were outstanding.

La Playita is a project born in 2012 in view of a big need in Bacalar: a place to eat, swim and spend the day in a great atmosphere, better music, a few good hammocks and an unbeatable turquoise view. Located on the shore of the seven colors lagoon, La Pl
Really nice, romantic atmosphere, and excellent service. However, the food was just okay and not cheap. The shrimp ceviche was fresh but had no sauce. The curry dish was described as a soup but the broth had no flavor. The bacon wrap was fine and the fish tacos were very good. So stick with the tacos and cocktails and you will be fine.

El Manatà Bacalar offers an great open space to enjoy a meal while immersed in art of various mediums. Our kitchen serves vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes all day. Everything is prepared fresh, with local and seasonal ingredients. We support fair trad
We are all proud of our town, out Nation, our local heritage. And while Manatà is charming by most small town standards, the âattitudeâ resembles visiting the Louvre in Paris where treasures are shown. Art installs were radical, yet far from world shaking. The food was good; tasty, yet unexceptional. This little place raises the game for Bacalar without putting forth a distinctive, authentic contribution to art. Frankly, the art was somewhat poor. Itâs not like there are better places like it in Bacalar. Itâs just that sone of us are neither local nor inclined to overrate the local âattemptâ out of national loyalty. If you want to play Big, be big â raise your offering 2x.

Came here after being all day at the lagoon and we had a good time eating their superb pizza and drinks. The staff was attentive and gave us some pointers to go around the place. My kids had the pizza, which by the way they have a bunch of combinations. And my wife and I some chiles rellenos.
