Ordered Rubiaâs Special Plate with carne adovada, rice & whole beans. Loved it! Red chile was tasty but not too spicy. Other person in my party ordered red beef enchiladas, very good choice! Ordered sopapillas & they were served round (like a Fry bread) with warm honey. Delicious! Will definitely eat here when in the area again!
We got breakfast burritos here and they were worth going out of the way for. The burritos are huge and overstuffed with whatever you order. Everything tasted great and food was made to order quickly in spite of the fact that we ordered 15 burritos to go!!!
Located on US 550 north of Aztec on the way to Durango. Eldaâs has an extensive menu of authentic Mexican food. Just the best food around. Enchiladas, chile rellanos, Mole, Chile con queso, horchata, etc., etc. Wonderful food served by wonderful folks in a cozy atmosphere. Open daily 8am to 2 pm. Skip the chains and come here.

They provide a nice variety of pretty good Mexican food for breakfast and lunch on Highway 550 between Aztec, NM and Durango, CO.The decor/utensils/dishes are standard inexpensive restaurant fare... The location is right off of Hwy 550 so could be a little loud with trucks driving by; but was quiet when we ate there this last time.
