Obviously I haven't eaten at every Mexican Restaurant in California, but I have eaten at many and have travelled often to Mexico. The food at Aracely's is superb! The portions are HUGE (I often take home enough for a second meal). There is an outdoor barbecue although I always eat inside. The service is great. the beer selection is great. Try the lengua for a real treat. The TV (showing soccer matches or telenovelas) is annoying when its too loud. But most small restaurants in Mexico have their TV blaring. I always take out-of-town friends and relatives and we have never had a bad experience in the two years that I've lived in Antioch. The only negative is that this is not the safest neighborhood at night so go when there is still some daylight.
the food is great. This is the only truly authentic Mexican food that I've ever eaten in the U.S. Amazingly delicious. Huge portion. Burritos that you have to take home. Rice and beans are always tasty. I go there often. They even have an outside barbecue in the evenings for takeout.
I work outside of the country but this is the first place I stop when I am in town. I love their fish tacos. The place is clean, airy, has a child's play area, the food is awesome and so is the staff.
I love the three-way appetizer sampler...and the drinks. However, I ate two times at this Chili's and the atmosphere is really cold. Our servers were ok but it must be the area or something because people are not friendly. Oh well....

Loved the Food and the History of New Mecca.Food feels home-cooked, I knew I was going to have a great time meal when our Server asked if we preferred Soup, Salad, or a Quesadilla as an included starter before our meal. Quesadilla of Course! My Colleague and I both chose the grilled "Fajita-esque" platters (though they were called something else).Flavorful, natural, authentic, and delicious!Make sure to read about the Owner Guillermo, who appeared to have a heart even bigger than our appetites. He evidently catered frequently catered for the Oakland As and was a personal friend of Tony LaRussa.Always nice to experience a Local Restaurant with a deep, meaningful connection to its Community!

Just spent a week traveling thru Texas. Couldn't wait to get back to ECC for excellent Mexican food. I love their enchiladas with red mole. Have been going here for many years and when craving Mexican. The restaurant is no frills in a small shopping center. For ever they have had the $5.99 lunch special. At lunch time they are packed.

Little Manuel's was started in 1979 by Manuel and Cynthia Sidrian. We moved to our current location in 1986 were we added sit down service. As the business grew, we expanded to occupy the entire bottom floor of our building. Along the way, our menu grew t
They have a good selection of foods, but I came here for the mexican food. I got a tostada and it was very average. I've been there before and liked it more, but this time I was disappointed I paid so much for a little mini tostada. I will give it another shot, but it really wasn't that good.Hi Tim, We're glad to hear that you enjoy our menu selections and dishes. We're sorry to hear that the Tostada from this visit wasn't fantastic for you. We are alwasy more than happy to replace a dish if our guest is not satisfied with it. We look forward to seeing you again.

If you like authentic Mexican food, you have to stop in at Salsa Taqueria. My wife and I use to drive miles for real Mexican cuisine, but not anymore. Conveniently located in west Antioch, near the County East Mall, is the best Mexican food anywhere. From the chips and many salsas to a main course of Carne Asada burritos, this is the best. The family owned restaurant is friendly, fast, and delicious. The Tostada Grande is to die for.

I really do not know why this restaurant has gone so bad, it used to be my favorite place for Mexican food, every time I go I say ânever againâ. I keep hoping that it will be better and it never happens, so for sure now Iâll never going to go backAll my favorites are terrible now , like chicken enchiladas, crispy tacos, chile rellenos , even the refried beans are not tasty anymore, even the service is not the same, there still about 3 waiters that are nice and attentive, that is about it.

This is a typical Mexican Restaurant in a strip mall area. There's nothing special. However, the staff is very kind and friendly. Nice idea to eat in or pick it up and take it out.
