If you are in the Allen area for lunch/breakfast and are craving Mexican food, then look no farther. I have tried many things on their menu and you absolutely cannot go wrong with any of their breakfast items. My personal favorite is the chorizo and egg breakfast burrito. For lunch, I generally go with a chimichanga with discada, pork and beef, for a meat filling. The prices are ridiculously reasonable for the quality of their food.
Chipotle restuarants are a quick in and out place for several different options of what in the end is really the same food, just if you want it wrapped, in the shell in the bowl. A few secrets - first skip the big tortilla and the taco's. Go for a bowl (and ask for two of them because this is really a salad for two). Then decide on the meat - the carnita is good but you decide. Then have them add a little bit of rice, then beans (think good fiber complete meal), then lettuce, then the corn salsa, plus several other salsa to fill the tray to more than it should hold. Ask for an extra side of one of the salsas, and limes (you have to ask). We drink water, not to save money but we don't need the extra calories or the fake sweetner.Get to the table, mix this mess (be careful or it will be all over the table) add in some more salsa, and squeeze in the limes. Divide into your extra bowls. When you are finished, ask yourself who eats all of this themselves?????This is a great meal for two that within reason is healthy, and for less than $10 (really less than that). Great for lunch or a light dinner. If you really want to mix it up, take this to go and eat at another location with a view and a bottle of wine (if that is legal).

Another Mesa's and another consistently grand experience. The staff will welcome you here like family again and again. The fare is ever so tasty from the chips and salsa, to the street tacos, and even to the classic south of the border house margaritas. The prices are quite reasonable, the servings generous, and the service prompt and attentive. Mesa's has earned their place on my go to destinations around town.

Every day at 8 a.m., we start chopping veggies, soaking beans, and prepping our mesquite-fired grill. Not because we have to, but because we believe in delicious flavors made-to-order, from hand-rolled enchiladas to our sizzling fajitas to guacamole made
My husband and I visited On The Border recently. We went early because this restaurant gets very busy. We were seated right away. We shared a combination chicken, steak and shrimp dinner. Also ordered a watermelon margarita. The food was delicious. Great service. The margarita topped it off. Perfect!

Really Great Food!!! This was our first time visiting this restaurant and we definitely recommend it to all. I had the flautas (chicken & beef brisket), my husband had the two chicken tacos, both were very tasty. We will be going back to try other meals. This place is very clean, the staff was very friendly, great place for families!

Our mexican cantina is a place that everyone can come and enjoy after a long day at work, or before a night out with friends. Our fun, laid back atmosphere is ideal while drinking the best tasting margaritas in the area, and enjoying a Tex Mex meal from o
Pleasant restaurant with very good service, but the food is really bland. The salsa, although pretty good, wasn't even spicy enough to bring much flavor to the items. Brisket taco, tacos al carbon, chicken and beef enchilada-everything tasted pretty much the same. Queso was ok but it also would benefit from some spice.Hey, Susan. We're sorry your dish wasn't seasoned to your liking. Our food is always made in-house, and we only use the freshest ingredients. We hope this doesn't turn you away, and instead you find your way back to give us another try again soon.Take care,Cooper, General Manager

We were seated in a booth opposite a wall tv and a bar that could accommodate about 8 or so people. Service was prompt but we were happy eating the chips with a nice spicy green salsa and a red salsa. Water glasses were refilled and chips replenished promptlySeveral people stopped by the table to check that everything was alright. I had the Chicken Fajita Quesadilla that comes with quacamole and sour cream. If I had one complaint it would be that the chicken was rather dried out. They also serve both breakfast and lunchThe breakfast menu sounded so interesting that I want to go back

A bit upscale very tex mex restaurant. Don't get me wrong I like tex mex as much as I like real mexican food. Their presentation is good, the server was prompt and attentive. My colleagues food looked good. The salsa was a little weak but they brought me something from the kitchen that was awesome. I had a chile Relleno and skirt steak. The Relleno was fantastic, the skirt steak was bland, nothing great. I asked for a grilled jalapeno to go with it and they brought me 2 and charged me 2.50, I thought that was a little lame.
