3pm, we need food, asked the hotel where e were staying , where the nearest place to eat is. They recommended La Ultramarina. What a great place, excellent food, fresh salad, excellent wine and beef cooked on your table on a hot plate, we have been travelling around Spain for 3 months and this stands out as one of best meals we have had. Staff excellent. Going back tomorrow for dinner.

It is a very small restaurant in a lane. Not easy to find. The tapas are subtle and the tastes are good.

We could not speak Spanish and the restaurant was full but we were still made feel welcome and helped to choose delicious food. This restaurant was crazy busy at 8.45pm when we arrived and just got more people as the minutes passed. The food is fresh and delicious and the wine cheap and excellent. We went here on Trip Advisor recommendations and can certainly add my vote of approval to the others who had a great experience here.

Bar de tapas familiar fundado en 1978. Pequeñas pinceladas de sabor para grandes paladares. Se habla inglés.
A cute little place with great food! The tapas that they offer are original, made with interesting ingredients, and good quality. The offer changes constantly - there ins a menu with their basics and two blackboards full of today's specialities. We have been there 3-4 times, tried dozens of dishes and we've never left disappointed. Plus they have very good and polite waiters, which in Spain is not always the case ;)

This time I went with my parents for lunch, and again it was a marvellous gastronomic event. We traid, Vizcaine Cod style, Row Cod brochette, Potato Omelette, boiled-egg filled with Tuna, "Guardia Civil" (Row sardine, red pepper, pink tomato and green chili pepper), "Alfonsito"(Grilled Pork sirloin) Pork' ear, snout and knuckle, served with a country red wine and aged cheese for dessert. First of all, i want to explain the good service that i have received with my family. The waiter explained to us the main dishes with all the details. The food is excellent and the meat is very good, cooked in an original way. Desserts are also excellent. I recommend the 'croquetas' or 'caneloni' with an original sauce. We will repeat.Thank you for your comment Xavi.Explaining the dishes and how we do them is a very rewarding task for us and for our clients. We love to surprise you with curious elaborations or with very visual and attractive dishes such as trapntojos and roasts. Thanks again for your visit and see you soon.

A new cafeteria-restaurant in Zaragoza where you can choose a variety of cuisines, from sushi, south france, seafood... to more traditional spanish food, under a single room. The dishes are tapas style, you will need more than one for full meal, The atmosphere bright and clean. The seating is a mix between a bar style (mostrador) but there are also many tables with service. The ambiance is cheery. We were a group of friends of we had the following (we all shared the dishes): carrillada de cerdo (pork cheek): tasty; ensalada de foie con frutos rojos (salad with red berries) which I found too sweet and not too much foie; crepes de pato (duck crepes) which were OK but too much cream sauce inside; croquetas de boletus (mushroom croquetas) which were very good; dumplings that were also good; noodles con gambas that were also good. For dessert some in the group shared a chocolate (mousse style) cake and they said it was good.Overall it was fun to try several dishes and being able to share with friends. The server was happy to bring us multiple dishes so we could do our sharing and not get all the flavours mixed. To drink we requested the house white wine and it was fine
