Very happy with the service. Staff were very helpful but not overly attentive. The restaurant was well set out with plenty of room. The menu is very meat orientated. The prices reflected the quality of the food and wine (not a criticism but something to consider). Definitely a special occasion destination. Will definitely be back later this year when I am back in Ashford again. Many thanks for your lovely review, we will pass your comments on to the team and we sincerely hope to see you again soon! The Wife of Bath Team

An innovative Wine Bar and Tapas restaurant, with up to 48 wines by the glass!
We celebrated my wifes 40th here, and were not disappointed. We dined on a Saturday, and although there was quite a few people there the service was spot on. The food was delicious and came out quickly. There was plenty of variety, and the cocktail menu was also fantastic. The steak was perfectly cooked, and we stuffed our faces and even managed the dessert sharing platter which was beautifully presented. Excellent little place, our only complaint was that too many dishes contained chilli (which my wife does not like) but we were able to ask most of them to be cooked without which they did. Well recommended.

This is a school restaurant that servers the public at lunch time. The food is prepared by the students and served by the students as part of their chosen carear in catering and hospitality.
A very warm welcome, this restauraunt is run by trainee chefs and front of house staff ageing between 15 and 18, although the lack of expierence this was a very pleasent service. Incredible value for for the outstanding food and hospitality shown. All chefs are trained by michelin star chef Tony Caine, award winning pastry chef Valerie Perry trained by the queens pastry chef. The front of house staff are excellently trained by by the talented and friendly Teresa Ford. this restauraunt offers a variety of food. I would recommend this restaurantt to anyone.
