This place is run by a lady who's lived 25 years in Spain and has a manual cold meat slicer. All of the sausages come directly from Spain. The sausage and cheese platter is exquisite! The atmosphere is great and the food is very authentic. If you are looking for a memorable experience in the middle of nowhere, this is the place to be. And don't forget to ask for the Crema Catalana (crème brûlée).

Das Haus war recht voll, auch wir waren mit einer gröÃeren Gruppe da, aber die freundliche Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und es gab keine langen Wartezeiten.Man scheint hier einen guten Ruf zu verteidigen, irgendwann war fast jeder Platz besetzt. Falls wir wieder in der Gegend sind, werden wir gern wieder reinschauen ...

I had the tapas calientes and everything on the plate disappointed me. The dish didn't gave me the feeling to be in Spain.The staff was friendly though and you get a "schnaps" from the house at the end of your dinner. Overall, the food was below average.Dear Gregory,thank your for your feedback - although it is not that positive. Unfortunately you didn't like our tapas calientes. We would be very happy to welcome you again in our restaurant to prove that our dishes can give you the feeling of being in Spain. Wir waren spontan zum ersten Mal im Don Antonio und waren positiv überrascht. Dieses Restaurant ist sehr Gast- und familienfreundlich und immer für einen Spaà zu haben. Wenn man Glück hat kann man (da sich das Restaurant auf einem Reiterhof befindet) den Reitern beim reiten in der Halle zusehen. Zum Essen kann ich nur positives berichten. Die Pizzen waren groà und sehr gut. Der kleine Salat war auch schon recht groà und sehr lecker...Wir waren bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal im Don Antonio.....

This restaurant is a fantastic local place. Very nice decorated,with eye for detail, friendly service, also with eye for detail, and great food! The dishes are fresh, local and with friendly prices (Schnitzelspecial: 1000cents is super!!) Certainly a must go (back)!Only negative point we can think of is that they are closed on Wednesday and Thursday, so we could't go again :)

The food was great, just as expected. Good quality and cooked well. The staff were able to speak to us in English which is a nice bonus. Only problem we had was the service. We were not in a rush but we waited about half hour for drinks and then at the end of our meal the staff disappeared.

On our first evening in Bad Oeynhausen we were fortunate enough to be dismissed from the restaurant we had booked to eat in (see review of Hotel Stickdorn) and so walked across the street to be welcomed warmly into this fabulous Ristorante Paradiso. The restaurant was almost full but the staff were kind and friendly and quickly found us a table. The table was beautifully set with a red rose and a single tall candle and we were provided water and fresh bread and a sample of a bruchetta. The service was prompt and pleasant and the waitress also interpreted the German menu where required. The food was generously proportioned and good value with complementary grappa with the check. It was a treat to have such friendly and kind service and to be so welcomed. We would definitely go back if we should find ourselves in this town again.

Hier hatten wir erstmalig in einem Restaurant den Eindruck, dass wir als Gäste willkommen waren.(2 Senioren, + Elternpaar eines 1 1/2Jährigen.Für unseren 1 1/2 jährigen Enkel stand ein Kinderstuhl mit Spielsachen bereit. Der Tisch war so gewählt, dass genügend Auslaufmöglichkeiten für den Junior und für uns als Senioren eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf Vlotho bestand. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Speisekarte übersichtlich und ansprechend. Das Essen war sehr aromatisch und nicht mit "Schnickedöns" überladen. Für den Junior wurde Kindermenü hergestellt. Die Preise für das Essen und die Getränke waren angemessen. Insgesamt ein schöner Abend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We tried the buffet formula and were not disappointed as with most buffets. The formula is surprising and makes you think you designed your own menu, but in reality an excellent chef has designed the tastes. Very friendly staff and excellent service.
