Superb views of lake bolsena and excellent food. We ate twice at lunch and on both occasions the food was superb. Ravioli to start followed by a seafood platter, washed down with a local recommended wine. Always busy so booking recommended. Parking opposite easy and very cheap- we combined with a day relaxing at the lake. Not as cheap as other places but well worth a visit and would imagine beautiful in the evening.

A little beautiful restaurant with tipical italian dishes with seasonal products. Animals welcome.
We had such a a fabulous time - eight friends and family. It was the Festival of Flowers, in this delightful small town, and the restaurant was full, vibrant and enchantingly noisy. Full of local people and families just having a good evening out. The food was great, good menu and wine - and large helpings. Service was very good and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. It was an enchanting evening. This is a small town, with a great local restaurant. One can pay a lot of money and not have had half the fun and good food we had that evening. So, in summary, small town, off the beaten track in Umbria, great local restaurant, very good 'real' food and very enthusiastic and friendly staff.

I've been there with my daughter for dinner. We tried "Coregone" special fish from the lake which was delicious. Also some sea food and a fabulous white wine. This together with the nice lake view and very friendly staff - it was a fantastic evening.

Il ristorante rimarrá chiuso per ferie dal 10/09 al 28/09/2018.
I think it was faith that brought us to La Rocca...This small restaurant at the top of Capodimonte seemed like a place where Hemingway could spend his afternoons. A simple décor draws attention to the food which was truly magnificent. I recommend an octopus salad with apple and wild rocket, probably the best lasagne we have ever tried and mouth watering 'moules' with a home made pasta. This is a small family-run restaurant, filled with passion for food and with great hospitality. A must to stop by, even just for an espresso. Just sit and watch the little piazza outside while listening to some stranger playing piano.

We returned to this little restaurant 12 years after our first visit as my husband had such wonderful memories from that time. It's a tiny little place, run by Riccardo and his uncle, both of whom are wonderfully welcoming. They do everything from grow the produce on their farm, cook, and wait the tables. The food is fresh and expertly prepared, and the atmosphere is unique, as the restaurant is down in a cantina below street level. The mixed appetizer plate was wonderful, with the best prosciutto we'd ever had. Meat is grilled on a fire, right in the dining room. The owners seem to love what they're doing and it shows in the food. The menu is verbal and limited, but there are enough different dishes that vegetarians could easily have a good meal here. We'll definately be going back again and again.

L'Oasi del Pescatore is perfect located next to the Bolsena lake. Also very charming to see the fisherman going out for fishing while we were eating. The atmosphere was relaxing combined with a stunning scenery. Delicious italian fish, seafood and pasta.Highly recommended!

We had a very nice lunch with good friends on a quiet Sunday afternoon. The family that owns and operates the agroturismo l'Alloro take great pride in their farm produce and cooking - which shows in the quality of their food. They collect wild mushrooms from the forest (in season), produce their own vegetables and meat. We had perhaps the best mushrooms ever - both with home made pasta (perfect) and - best of all - lightly fried to perfection. The mille-foglie was an excellent example of this dessert. We paid about Euro 30 per perspon for a feast - including wine and dulce. Location is very near the lovely small town of Valentano and has a very nice view of the surrounding agricultural landscape. Highly recommended.

Our restaurant stands a few kilometres from Bolsena Lake and is pretty easy to get to with a wide parking. It offers spacious air-conditioned rooms for banquets too, with satellite tv and wi-fi zones. You may also have your meal outdoors in a roomy verand
This was nice, we just drove by, and stopped for a dinner, and it was a very big surprise to find this good food and sweet service in a hotel by the road. The pizza is absolutely marvelous! You have to try!

POSSIBILITA' DI CUCINA GLUTEN FREE(senza glutine)
Located in a vaulted under-croft, in the centre of the historic hill-top town of Valentano, la Voltarella delivers good, honest local cuisine at extremely reasonable prices. A series of fixed price options, with a wide choice of course options, the food was well cooked, the portions were of a good size and the setting was comfortable and interesting. The house wine (included in the fixed price) is drinkable, whilst the wine list offers alternatives from further afield. The staff coped with our lack of Italian and were attentive and friendly throughout - highly recommended...
