We took our evening meal at Fortaleza and it was a good choice. The ensalada mixta was fresh and flavorful with local tomatoes and onions. While the melon with ham was one of the juiciest and tastiest entrees I have ever enjoyed, the calamari romano reached our table dry, bland, and unimaginably presented. It was clearly sitting around the kitchen for a long time before reaching our table. The staff was very professional and responsive to our needs. Overall, it was a good meal--a five star dinner if we had freshly cooked calamari.

Restaurante situado en la zona vieja de Tui con una carta de cocina de producto y una amplia selección de vinos.
We enjoyed a delicious Xmas dinner in Santiamén. We chose a set menu and were delighted with the quality and presentation of the food. A menu was specifically designed for our vegan friend. The service was outstanding. Will definitely be returning and strongly recommend a visit here.

A warm welcome on arrival in a beautiful sunny day. We had a booking in the Terrace but there is also indoor seating. The ambience was good and suitable for our group which included young children. The menu was honest, traditional Galician food. Large selection of fresh fish, seafood and a variety of meats were on the menu. Tapas as starters were also available. We had Jamon croquettes, calamares and tuna empanadas. For mains we had ox steak, beef Milanese and monkfish. All were well presented, tasty and freshly cooked. Serves were generous.

We were looking for a place to dine and chanced upon this restaurant. We were looking for a tapas place but didn't find any, and my friends and I thought this was a good alternative. What a good find ... friendly staff, some of whom are trying to learn English but are, nevertheless, service-oriented. I ordered the soup with kale in it, the beans and tripe, and a dessert (I forget its name but it is similar to creme brulee). All were delicious and tasty. And it didn't cost as much as I thought it would.

Great restaurant with fantastic pizza and desserts. You can either order and take-away, or have a seat inside in a great ambiance place to sit for a meal. Fresh ingredients that you can taste in your meal and home-made desserts. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. Definitely recommend if you are looking for Italian cuisine, it worths it!

Welcome to our house Place of meeting and sharing. Gastrobar, snacks, wines & gins, cafeteria and bar. Welcome to the last Portuguese bar on the way to Santiago.
Stopped here on a day trip from Galicia to Portugal on a rainy Sunday having read great reviews on Tripadviser. Stood there for 5 minutes without the guy behind the bar paying any attention to us at all. The place was almost empty so it was not like he was busy with other customers. We decided to take our money elsewhere. Glad he does not work in my business....I am sad for receiving my first horribel rating, if you even try our service, but would be more sad if you gives us a horribel about Our food, because until today, its never happened. I hope that someday you will come for another visit to change your opinion. Thanks

Having walked over the bridge from Valença and staggered up the cobbled hill in the heat, we almost fell in the door and through the cool, inviting interior onto the balcony. Our host was most welcoming and the food truly wonderful. The salad I will remember for a very long time; the ham and cheese platter was just right. The Spanish omelette (tortilla) was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend!

Book before you go, otherwise you will end up having some delicious food in high table with not so comfortable stools. No matter what, she food is worthwhile, the portions are very generous and the wine list is great. The seafood is fresh and tastes as such!

If you visit Tui, be sure to check this place! Great fusion cuisine, drinks and atmosphere. We had croquettes with octopus, gyozas with vegetables, Black Angus burger, vegan wok, pizza with vegetables and grilled round steak and we will be back for more :)
