We had a family lunch at Strandküche and it was exceptional, we had appetizers and main courses, the food had a special touch, very friendly personal, the food was delicious, location is direct beachfront, but we had a place in the winter garden, it was perfect for us and the kid (18 months)

Was here for a recent birthday celebration. Fantastic variety of food, well prepared and presented. Plenty for the party too. Service enthusiastic and efficient. Delicious and tender beef served.

We tried the candle light dinner on a Sunday in this restaurant (it seems to be an offer they have)That was not a success - the size of the courses were so miniscule that we simply laughed...We actually had planned visiting the gourmet section of the restaurant but decided not to after this...Not worth the money or the bother

We were visiting Travemunde with German friends to see the boat festival. The restaurant is on the river front with excellent views of the passing ships. We all had seafood. the meals were well prepared. Menus were available in English. The service was prompt and polite. This is a great little down to visit, walk the streets, see the various boats, shop and have a pleasant meal.

Friendly bustling Italian in the centre of town with a big covered terrace and a smaller inside. The problem with the terrace is that smoking is allowed in what in reality is an enclosed area.Menu is typical Italian with the highlight being the fresh fish which is on show on the counter. Prices reasonable for the quality of the food. Service was pretty good for a busy evening. Bookings are a good idea.
