Piadina, "Piada" appears in the first historical document in 1,371 in the description of the Romagna, described by Cardinal Angelico, where they appeared to pay taxes "Two piadinas". It was the poet Giovanni Pascoli who gave dignity to cheep in several of
During our short stay in Nerja my family and I ate here twice. The menu, like the restaurant, is small but the dishes are made of such good quality ingredients and beautifully home cooked. The ravioli stuffed with buffalo mozzarella and cooked in sage and butter was perfect. It's simple and beautiful italian food and not at all expensive. The couple who run the Piadina are friendly and kind and they are genuinely pleased when you enjoy their food. This is Italian cooking at it's best.

We first visited this restaurant in July, and awarded it the( almost obligatory!) 5 stars, because it merited them, and so chose it for my husband's birthday. We arrived at the relatively early time, for Spain, of 8.30 and were seated and offered drinks, then presented with the I Pods containing the details of the menus and a la carte dishes, and busied ourselves deciding what to have. The drinks arrived and the amuse-bouches, and by then we were looking at the Chinese translations and my grandaughter was taking selfies with the I Pod ! Then Miguel, the maitre D, came over to take our orders, and we learned that of the four starters offered, only two were still available: ceviche and foie gras. My granddaughter cannot eat raw fish, or foie, so we regretfully said that we would pay for our drinks and go elsewhere. Both Miguel and Silvio were so apologetic that we ended up apologising to them for leaving, and, of course, the drinks were free. We will go back, perhaps after checking whether they have done all their shopping, but you would have thought that they should have had more availability, or back-up plans should this happen, it wasn't as though it was at the end of a busy weekend, but early on a Wednesday. And just one other thing: Kir Royale should be roughly the colour of a 'blush' rosé, not the colour of Ribena !Estimada/o LYNN Hola de nuevo...entonces...empezamos por parte cuando Usted hizo la reserva...se le preguntò si habia algunas intolerancias o alergia...

This family run restaurant focuses on a genuine food offer together with a wide selection of wines from all over the world. We space from salads and homemade burgers at lunchtime, to the juicy sea-bream fillet and tender beef eye fillet at dinnertime. Our
Went without a reservation after recommendation by friends and we werenât disappointed. We started with bread and an amuse-bouche of creamed chickpeas. For mains we ordered 2 pork shanks and a lasagne, all three meals were nicely presented and the quality of the food was excellent. The portion size, especially the pork, were huge and meant there was no room for deserts. A cappuccino, two bottles of water and a G&T and our food came to a very reasonable â¬60. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. La Bottega rightly sits high in the restaurant ratings for Nerja.

We went for lunch at El Velero del Sur in El Morche which is on the promenade with views of the beach and the sea.We started with aguacate con gambas â¬8 to share, and we both chose the seafood paella â¬11 per person. The avocado prawns was excellent, but the paella was truly superb - freshly cooked and with generous prawns, crayfish, langostinos, mussels, clams, fish etc. We had a bottle of Ramon Bilbao Rioja red wine â¬16.The service by the waiters was faultless. The food, the service and the view made the lunch a most enjoyable experience. Excellent value for such quality.

Down a few narrow steps there's a beautiful and lush courtyard. There we where were greeted by a waiter who showed us to our table. We both had starters and main course, and all the food was excellent! For me the roasted pork knuckle was a standout. The service was impeccable from start to finish. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the food and wine - my wife had a very specific question about a bottle of wine that he answered without checking. No doubt - best meal of our holiday this year!

Restaurant with an extensive menu of gourmet tapas prepared. Mediterranean dishes with a unique style.
We ate twice in the restaurant while on holidays in Torrox Costa. You need to book in advance. There is a great choice on the menu to suit even the fussy eaters. All items are well priced. My daughter is 10 and just wanted plain chicken & got beautiful grilled chicken & beautiful potatoes. We had Hake with asparagus in mushroom sauce, a salmon, curry, melon with jamon for my 4year old who was delighted when it appeared on skewers stuck into half an orange with the jamon drapped over it.No request was a problem & the lady serving us was so friendly and helpful. It is a small restaurant in lovely garden/courtyard type setting. There are lovely old photographs inside. Also a pristine toilet. It is a 5* must visit if your visiting Torrox Costa.
