Life is short. Time is a precious gift and we should make the best out it. At times, we find ourselves reminiscing about the past, or thinking too much about our future. These both extremes may impede us to live and enjoy today. Our restaurant aims to giv

This restaurant was a great find and we visited twice during our recent stay in Valletta. A comprehensive menu and daily specials made it difficult to choose what to have. The food portions were generous and very tasty. Service was excellent with very friendly and helpful staff. I would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant if you are looking for good food, great value and service with a smile.Good Morning,We thank you for your kind review and generous comments. Visited this place for an evening meal. We got there early and when asked if they had a table for two was told yes but we would have to leave by a certain time which we thought ok at the time. However, the restaurant only got a few tables filled whilst we were there so we felt it a bit unecessary to make such a comment. This place is not cheap, in fact one of the more expensive ones we came across. The food is Lebanese which we thought would be a nice change to experience but we were not impressed, it wa svery salty and not hat enjoyable. The wine was also very expensive and we were not allowed to try it before having the glass filled. It was not very good I have to say.Overall not a very enjoyable experience as the waiters seemed to think they were something special. Not worth the money in my opinion.

Great staff, very friendly, happy and helpful - 10 out of 10. Thatâs where it ends. Pasta with sword fish not too bad, quite flavoursome but only average , definitely not more than a 3 star. Grilled fish platter, well for 30 euros I was expecting something quite special. Tuna slightly over cooked, sword fish definitely over cooked, the 2 large prawns and sea bream were moist and quite tasty, salmon boring. I feel bad because the staff were so lovely but Noooo, I wonât be back and would not recommend, donât believe everything you read on trip advisor

We specialize in cooking seafood for takeaway. Daily fresh seasonal seafood available in stock. Come in or order by phone for pick up.
It may just be our bad luck or the fact that we were the only Asian-looking tourists around (and the lads thought we didnât know any better)... The fish and chips were the worst weâve ever had - coming from Australia we have had a few good ones. For 9 euros we got one (rather small) piece of over cooked cod with minimal batter and soggy chips. The fish was so dry and tough even the kids didnât want it. The chips were clearly deep fried in old, stale oil and was awful. And to think we specifically walked for 20min to get to this place based on reviews. There was unfortunately nothing âgourmetâ about the food. Just overpriced, and the joint had nowhere to sit except for two bar stools - and at the counter they asked us: would you like to eat in or takeaway? Eat in where?? If you want good fish and chips there are - as we discovered later - many better options around the island. Like the Sea Shell Fish and Chips in Bugibba and even many of the restaurants in Sliema and Valletta do a good (and fairly priced) deal on fish and chips. For less than or similar to what this joint charge for âgourmet takeawayâ you can get better food and enjoy proper table service (some place for 7 euros with a drink!).A really bad experience for us and we would advise other to be cautious - at least check whatâs in the takeaway box before you walk away..

Sotto pizzeria italiana, rising up a72 hours, a mixture of selected 4 flour to eat the real Roman pizza. Sotto pizzeria italianaSouth Street in Valletta, 32.
A sizeable menu with many options usually suggest the basics are somehow forgotten...but not here. The pizzas were very good actually and we didnât leave a scrap. The beer menu is smaller but there are some interesting choices on it. Overall, tasty and filling....and we booked to go back 2 days later (recommended as they are rightfully popular and routinely turn people away).

Came here for Lunch after seeing the TA rating & we were very impressed..Warm Greeting from the team & we were led to a table on the upstairs verandah, with great views over the Bay.Mrs JLA enjoyed a Mixed Kebab Plate which was plentiful, with both the Lamb Doner & Chicken being tasty & freshly prepared. With a choice of 5x salad items from their extensive selection & chips. The only negative was the bread which was quite tough & appeared to not be as fresh as everything else, which is a shame & not a corner worth cutting. My Maxi Moo Burger was tremendous! Came with chips & I opted to pay the â¬1.70 upgrade for Angus Beef & wow.. 2 patties of tender & juicy beef, loaded with cheese, donner meat, salad & a fried egg!!!Both meals were thoroughly enjoyed & washed down with 2x large beers. The Young waitress was pleasant & attentive with the food arriving in good time.Moos, please dont serve stale bread with your kebabs, as next time I want to give you the 5stars your really deserve..Dear Mr.JLA While we are happy to hear you nice feedback , we are also sad that you had an unfortunate situation regarding bread. I would like to assure you , cutting corners, let alone even itâs worth to cut , is not something that takes place in our business mentality. After discussing with our chefs , regarding your feedback about the bread , they made sure it was baked daily in the morning. What happened was , it was Sunday and we have run out of our regular type of flour which we use for our homemade pastries, and we had to get another type of flour which was available that moment, to save the day , which ended up causing our breads to be harder than it should be. I would like to let you know that Your feedback has taken seriously and it will absolutely help us to improve ourself. As you said , we would be glad to earn your 5- star review no matter what. Therefore I would like to personally invite you Mr. JLA & Mrs. JLA to give us a second chance and let us give you the best service and dining experience what we have known for. We Wish you happy holiday and kindly ,let us know before your visit by sending email to [email protected] Regards Yusuf K

Will sure visit again! The owner / chef is also a very nice helpful person. Well done :)
