RESTAURANT: An independently owned and unique restaurant with sociable ambiance, striking decor and attentive service. Stylish, relaxing and reasonably priced, Vogue Bistro is an ideal place for a casual lunch, a business meeting or an intimate dinner. CU
I can't recommend this restaurant. Most of the time the food is good. But the service is really sketchy -- and pushy. As soon as you're seated, the waiter recites some wonderful dishes. Be careful because he's not reciting specials; he's just pointing out the three most expensive dishes on the menu. You may still be eating and they want to snatch your plates away. (What? Are they running out of plates in the kitchen?) I had seared tuna that came with avocados and tomatoes. I put some avocado in my mouth, only to find out it was a mouthful of wasabi!! Also, the portion of veggies was measly. They were out of some dishes, and we were told that there "are no specials on Mondays." I just don't think you can rely on this place.
My husband and I found this restaurant while passing through Surprize, AZ. It is family owned and spotlessly clean. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. I had the falafel platter and my husband had the falafel/gyro platter. Both were very yummy! Just wish we didn't live almost 2,000 miles away; we would eat there every week.

Order the plate with gyros, saffron rice, hummus, pita bread and salad. Very reasonably priced. Also ordered a side of homemade grape leaves. The gyros was tender but sliced in bite size pieces. The rice and pita bread were great. The hummus was home made but a little bland and the salad was small with little dressing. Loved the grape leaves. Also ordered a chicken gyros to go. This was also very tender and tasty. Will return. Menu has variety. Did not care for using plastic wear and throw away styrofoam plates.

The two of us ordered guacamole, tacquitos, and tostadas. The food was very plentiful - the quacamole was enough for 6 - we were just 2. It was a little bland, but chunky with tomatoes and onions - could have more flavor. The tacquitos were very good - but could include some cheese or lettuce within the roll. The tostadas were shredded chicken on re-fried beans, on a tortilla - topped with lettuce, tomato and cheese. The lettuce topping was a little excessive - could have had more focus on the chicken and beans. Like the guacamole, this was a little bland, but very good.We had excellent service - our waiter was very attentive and worked to understand our preferences and provide the food accordingly. For Mexican food, we like Yaya's,
