This is a small restaurant that offers a limited number of freshly prepared local dishes. It is equally popular with locals as with guests from further away. Make a reservation! Despite off season, I saw many people turned away while I was enjoing my Tagliere and Funghi porcini with scamorza cheese!

The Giardini di Ararat Bagnaia is a farmhouse hotel, surrounded by the Cimini Mountains, that embraces the idea of the inn as a meeting place for the traditions and customs of the area, a hub for local food and wine. The restaurant offers a menu in accord
I know this "agriturismo" for quite long time now and every time I came back there is something which have improved and refined... The location is astonishing, the management superb and the food utilize is coming from the area surroundings this lovely place. You can eat, drink, and bring home jam, oil and other products and beside the normal food service offered the management of the place is also running parallel activities such as school programs, dogs training, and many more. It is family owned and managed and "Laura" one of the owner will make you feel like home, as long as you got one :) Otherwise you can sleep there in beautiful rooms. Plan also a visit to the close town of Bagnaia, and a warm bath in the thermal water of Viterbo and your weekend will be impeccable I promise!!!

The Sea at the Two Chimneys, the first restaurant of fish in Soriano nel Cimino, where the quality exceeds the price! Ethical cuisine, we also offer menus vegetarian/vegan. All dishes are homemade
Charming small restaurant in Soriano, with a strong emphasis on fish, although there are vegetarian options. The chef celebrates what's fresh, and lets the seafood take center stage. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunch here. While the oysters were no longer available (they only serve what's fresh), my wife loved her mixed seafood folded into farina noodles, and I was impressed by the depth of flavor evident in the gnocchi with crayfish-like shrimp. The pastas are all housemade, as is the bread. And the sauces are simple yet elegant and flavorful. Very satisfying, but we made room for delicious baba and a creamy panna cotta. This was our first visit to this restaurant, but we plan to hurry back.

Sorry locals, I'm posting an alert to tourists not to miss this out-of-the-way restaurant when visiting the Viterbo area. It is well worth the short trip. Classic Italian meets deconstructed nouvelle cuisine and what a fabulous marriage it is! We had saffron fettuccini with wild boar ragu and a fennel-sausage-olive stuffed guinea fowl that had been cooked for 20 hours. I hear their burgers are also cooked for 20 hours and I am so curious about this that I now have to figure out how to get back here. Seriously, don't pass up the chance to try this restaurant. The food is top-notch in both quality and creativity. If you are a foodie --or a slow foodie-- it's a must.

Excellent authentic regional food with a large range of options. The meal we had here was the best we had all week in the Lazio region. Terrific house wine. Two rooms for diningâone more family, the other more restaurant. This place is a must in Soriano.

We visited this restaurant twice for dinner in August 2016. It is probably the best restaurant in the arear of Soriano - it is very popular with Italians, and busy even in mid-week, despite its relatively remote location up the hill road. The food was excellent, as was the service. It was noticeable that it was well staffed in terms of numbers, which is comparatively rare - some good restaurants struggle to cope when busy, but not so here.

We had a very pleasant lunch in a square just over the road from the main restaurant. The roasted vegetables with different types of mozzarella was more than enough for two people, as a starter. The zucchini, eggplant and red capsicum were grilled to perfection. The array of pizzas was most inviting and the sizes were enormous, so much so that we had to take the uneaten portions away.Total cost including a bottle of water âfrizzanteâ came to â¬33.

Parco dei Cimini, It is located 800 meters s.l.m. between the nature reserve of Lake Vico and the slopes of Monte Cimino. Born in 1998, the desire to transform the organic products of the ancient farm family (cultivated grain from about the 20s), preparin
Forget the usual organic restaurant or bio resort. It is completely embedded in the deep green forest that covers the shoulders of an ancient volcano (Cimino), few minutes by car from Viterbo and about one hour trip from Rome. The restaurant can offer a good service even if you are a group of 50 people but it is a good choice for a romantic dinner too.The food choise is quite impressive, good quality, roasted meat, delicious cheese, great choise of different type of pasta, great wine and dont forget the opportunity to wandering around the park. People are kind and fully professional. Could be a good base for exploring this amazing and often neglected part of Italy.
