Mamnoon

Overrated dining and overall experience by those not aware of this establishment’s hidden charges. After not being impressed by appetizers my wife and I decided to just have a couple of cocktails. To our shock and dismay, Mamnoon slipped in an up-charge on each martini- no warning, no discloser. What was worse, when we brought it to the server’s attention we got the “It’s policy” garbage, and “there’s nothing I can do” attitude. Unbelievable! What a way to run a subpar, underhanded business.

Saffron Grill

We were looking for a place to eat near our hotel. This Indian restaurant is right next to the Nexus hotel and has plenty of parking. We were greeted warmly by the staff, we had made reservations. It was absolutely packed on a sun night. The decor is very beautiful with Indian sculptures and paintings. Our server Jaimie was efficient and wonderful. We started with some cocktails, a beer and mango juice. We had a mixed tandoori grilled appetizer. Lamb kebab, fish, chicken tikka. It was all delicious. We had a garlic naan which was massive with saag(creamed spinach)chickpeas and tadka dal. Both these dishes came with basmati rice. It was a great meal. We ended with a local pistachio and mango ice cream.

We dined here twice during our 5 night stay in Seattle. We especially loved the homemade lentil soup, which has a hint of lime and cilantro. Delicious! The salads (house and taboule) were very good. We loved the naan bread and hummus, which is a bargain at only $4 during Happy Hour. The restaurant has lovely decor, attentive servers and belly dancing on Saturdays (according to the menu). Definitely try this gem! It's great.

We adored our dinner at Lola! The appetizers, drinks, kabobs, and desserts were all amazing and our waitress was wonderful. Warm, fun atmosphere and such an imaginative menu. We tried several different kabobs - lamb, chicken seafood - but our favorite was the cheese and fig. The bread and spreads were a super fun appetizer and the triple coconut pie for dessert was to die for. Absolutely delicious!

We used this restaurant for 3 breakfasts & one dinner as we were guests of Mayflower Park hotel. Hotel guests get 15% discount.Lovely breakfast. Good coffee & plenty of refills. Some different menu options.Nice dinner without being exceptional. I had the grilled lemon chicken which was tasty. At $29 quite expensive for what was basically chicken, mash & carrots with gravy! Very handy though for tired hotel guests like us who didn’t have the energy to go elsewhere.
