Celebrated as one of the top 20 "Best New Restaurants" in the U.S. by Esquire Magazine immediately upon opening in 2013, as well as nominated by the prestigious James Beard Foundation for "Best New Restaurant" in 2014, Virtù is Chef Gio Osso's intimate, s
Everything I tasted was reaaly good, congratulations. I cannot confirm it is a real Italian restaurant, but starting from Italian goods (like handmade pasta) they create fusion recipes which are definetely good. The design is nice and modern, the place is clean and the waiters are professional. If you are around, I would definetely try it!

Dining under the shady trees on Olive and Ivy's massive patio feels more like Southern France than southern Scottsdale. If you are looking for pomp and circumstance of quiet elegance, try the signature private-dining venue, the Stamp Room. If it's night-l
We stopped for lunch on our walk through Scottsdale. Being from Vancouver, Canada, 'waterfront' has a whole other meaning for us but this was very nice. Glad to see that the city explores ways to optimize the canal and its attraction. The patio is very attractive, under the trees and nice, big umbrellas. the wrought iron chairs are not very comfortable but who cares when the venue is so nice. Lunch was good (the pesto is the best) and the service was good, although a bit snobbish. We would definitely go back.

At the heart of the resort, T. Cook's culinary philosophy of magnifying the purity of fresh, seasonal ingredients is a celebration of its treasured legacy. For nearly two decades, T. Cook's has garnered both local and national acclaim. This time-honored t
First - this is a gorgeous setting. Staff is attentive and wonderful. Service impeccable. The menu fairly short but it was the end of summer in Phoenix. We had dinner and breakfast here. Our impression is that the chef is trying too hard to create something "different" and coming up with some strange offerings. I had the branzino - fortunately I am a small person and small eater and I had enough but most people would have found it ridiculously tiny - maybe 8 inches by 1.5 inches and 1/4 inch thick?. Flavor okay but nothing special, to me anyway. It was served over a pea puree which was pretty good, but laced with raw peas which were as hard as rocks. $45 for the plate seemed like should have been more fish? Decorated with cherry tomatoes and fried shreds of potato. My partner ordered the tomato/crab soup ($15)which was way too spicy to eat and the crab was perhaps a teaspoon of shredded crab floating on top. The waiter did warn us it was spicy but we like spicy - but not like that. To their credit they did whisk it away and not charge for it. My partner had a chicken dish which though big enough was not to her liking either - also with a rather strange orange coating and very dry. We did have a wonderful chocolate desert which was complementary for a special occasion and much appreciated. They do offer I think 3 steaks which would perhaps have been a better choice. We used to eat here fairly often but some years ago when they had a different chef and the offerings were innovative but also delicious. If you've not been here for a while be warned that the food has changed.

Because of my wife's diet requirements, we often seek out Persian/middle eastern restaurants. In this case, while we found the downstairs very inviting, the food and service were disappointing. The service was hit and miss even though the restaurant was not busy. The Shirazi salad was excellent--very fresh and tasty. My stew was OK as was my wife's chicken kebab. Nonetheless, we would not eat here again.
