You can feel history in each room of LE FATTORIE where you'll be plunged into a kind of fairytale world thanks to the pieces of furniture and furnishing details. Each room tells a different story and our natural products for brakfast ( milk, ricotta, yoghu
We are staying on this farm for the past few days and have been participating in cooking classes each day. The first day we made from scratch, tortolini stuffed with fresh regatta cheese and parsley. We also made pasta that was turned into a Bolognese. We then enjoyed them for dinner with a very good pino noir produced on the farm. Dessert was a perfect chocolate torte with fresh cream. For lunch today we ate ourselves into a food coma. First their was antipasto with fresh rigotta and goat cheese. Both are produced right on the farm. Before lunch we went on a tour of the farm with the cheese maker and met the sheep and goats who supplied the raw ingredients. For the next course we had pasta Bolognese. As if that was not enough, that was followed by lamb braised short ribs that were excellent. Needed a little vanilla gelato with chocolate pudding and fresh thick cream to wash that down. All this with a bottle of their own produced sparkling white wine. This induced me to pass out on the front lawn and bask in the sun for a good nap. Before you know, it is five hours later and time to go make risotto with sausage and put the finishing touches on a beef roast that will simmer for three hours after having been marinated for 24 hours in red wine and vegetables. Had those for dinner to night and they were delicious. Followed that with chocolate cake with pears and chocolate sauce. Both nights we enjoyed some farm produced liquors - grappa and early aged cognac. Our room on the farm is very large with free wifi and a large king bed. The room is full of windows and has a large bathroom with a big walk in shower. The people are very nice and it is really a unique experience. Our

Super consigliato !!

Fantastic. Beautifully cooked fresh seafood. Great service and great value. Highly recommended. This was just down the road from our B&B A Casa di Sergio and we went on recommendation from our hosts. It lived up to the recommendation.

L'Antica Trattoria "La Grotta" was founded in 1918 by Adelmo Negri, not far from a cave dug into the tuff. Here generations of gourmets have spent happy hours for lunch or dinnerbased on authentic traditional dishes. "Tradition" is the buzzword that after
We were staying just down the road from the restaurant and we went with our Italian friend. She ordered things we have never heard of and never would have ordered ourselves, which made the meal extremely interesting. We started with deep fried artichoke balls and a platter of meats, which were all very good. We also had platters of grilled vegetables and more deep fried vegetables and fruit, dipped in batter and sugar. Quite a contrast. The maialino (pork) flavours were strong and like nothing I've had before - but delicious. The 2013 Barolo was a great match. We finished off with an excellent panna cotta dessert which was laced with interesting flavours of wild herbs and sour cherries. The restaurant is very spacious, and the service was very good.

Disclaimer: I haven't visited many Michelin-rated restaurants in my life (this is the fourth I've been in) hence my judgement might be biased by a lack of confidence with top-tier experimentation. That said, all in all my experience at Ristorante Marconi was positive but not memorable.I'll spare the reader the usual sermon about how smart and innovative this young chef is; that is all true and doesn't need repeating. So, what are the aspects that restrained me from a 5-star rating? 1) Shellfish and snails abound in the menu, but do not meet everyone's taste; me for instance, I'm nearly phobic with shellfish and snails, which significantly narrowed the choice of dishes.2) The choice of desserts, in my opinion, was not up to the reputation of the restaurant. Is that all? Yes it is on my behalf. You see, dear reader, I'd rather employ my review time in praising worthy restaurants that have not yet ascended to the starry kingdom of the Michelin guide.

We were the first ones on the terrace, didnât receive a menu until we asked one ourselves. Ordered a bottle of rosè wine and heard later that they didnât have rosè. The food was not good. There was no toilet paper on the toilet. It was terrible!

On the advice of our villa owner we visited the Teamvua restaurant which is down a steep path at the side of a hotel come sushi bar. We arrived before 7 but had to wait until 730 for the kitchen to open. The staff were wonderful and looked after the four of us. My daughters had anti past of meats and cheeses which was devoured. I had an excellent steak and my wife had pasta. Lovely meal. Thanks to all the staff especially the girl from the kitchen who assisted with the translation. A lovely restaurant
