Bad experience We are Greeks so we know about good tastes and quality. The food was ok, as traditional cooking, but the prices were too expensive according the portion. They are stealing the clients with these prices.I know we are in Santorini which is expensive , but these small portion of food is unacceptable, have the same prices but with bigger quantity! These seems that you do not respect the clients.I told the owner about it and he was really rude towards me!I was really dissapointed!! I do not recommend it at all!!!Good eveningFirst of all the only person that came from the first moment with a mood to fight was you. You were rude and ironic to the staff of the restaurant from the very beginning, from the moment you sat at the table. When you came in to pay you started shouting, pointing your finger to me and coming straight at my face like you wanted to throw a punch as I was keeping my distance. And people saw that! Your own company was telling you to leave but you continued to shout and yell by yourself. You found me rude just because I was telling you the absolute truth about some specific dishes that you mentioned and the prices about the ingredients of those. In Santorini prices are expensive yes, but we as a restaurant bring the finest and best quality ingredients from all over Greece and that equals more transfer fees. You mentioned how much you buy these ingredients at your village or your local market but that is totally irrelevant as the prices are NOT the same there and here. Also, locals that saw you came in later and told me that they've seen you doing the exact same thing in other places also, and that it is a habit of yours. So the conversation ends here. You can read the rest of the reviews of the restaurant as an answer to youself. Thank you very much for this though.

A very average taverna, if it wasn't so hyped on TripAdvisor I wouldn't be disappointed, but really, there isn't anything other than basic taverna food here.Very very nice people, we might return in a pinch if other places are booked. We are sorry that we didn't meet your expectations but as you said we are Family reastaurant (Taverna) and serve our food with Meraki and Love, that meens that we gonna serve taverna food with traditional Greek Mezedes. If you where looking for something different you should have tried a more gourmet kitchen with golden plates and tables, We are a traditional reastaurant with simple authentic Greek recipes and enviroment thats why and we are so Hyped on trip Advisor couse people from all over the world want to Feel that and taste something new!We are really sorry again if our flavors didn t meet yours, Thank you

We were looking for a place to hung around and have some good meals.. so we decided to create our own restaurant and called it " MeRaki " ouzo-raki house or rakadiko in Greek. Its a small music tavern which locas prefers because it has clean and fresh, ta

This is a simple but cosy place, staff are very friendly and takes well care of you.We had a light dinner with grilled shrimps, which was tasty, the restaurant has a great choice of fresh fish.We sat on the edge of waterfront which was very nice in the sunset. It is a bit difficult to reach the old port, cable car is 12⬠each way but there are huge queues when passengers are going to and from the cruise ships, the alternative is to walk climb 600 stairs....

We booked the meal months before our holiday began to ensure we had the best table in the house. We were greeted warmly by the pleasant receptionist and escorted to the dining area. Our table had been reserved and was indeed the best available. The views from the restaurant are amazing. We timed our visit to coincide with the sun setting ... and it was stunningly perfect. The heaters were welcome when the temperature dropped and the lighting was well thought out.The staff were attentive without being intrusive and were all so friendly and professional. The meal was an absolute delight , washed down with a bottle of champagne â¤ï¸ We would highly recommend Fly Away for that special occasion ... or just because your worth it.Dear Grovesy61,Thank you for taking the time to share your experience on TripAdvisor Community! We are so pleased to read that you had an amazing experience with us and you celebrated your 30th anniversary exactly as you dreamed. It is always a blessing to welcome such marvelous guests! I emailed the restaurant on September 14th to make a reservation for September 30th. I was told to call the restaurant when I arrived and they would try and accommodate us. My impression was that they receive lots of requests for a reservation and will only confirm once you arrive in Santorini. At no time did I suspect the reservation would be a problem. I emailed and called when we arrived, after a couple of hours of calling someone answered and told me no, they could not accommodate us. The gentleman was quite rude and abrupt and made me feel like an idiot for wasting his time. If I had been informed ahead of time, I could have made a reservation at another restaurant, but this was handled very poorly. I now believe the restaurant knew I would be on some sort of waiting list, but never indicated to me that they were fully booked. Felt like they cared more about filling the restaurant and having a waiting list than taking care of customers - a very poor customer experience. There are so many great restaurants in Santorini that treat their customers well, why put up with this kind of abuse.

Fine dining restaurant FLOGA AND 1800 now united under one management to provide a sensetional gastronomic expireance whith the best sea and volcano view on the island
This is a very small restaurant, I would estimate around 30 person capacity. The first thing we noticed was how attentive the servers were. They checked up on us throughout our meal, refilling drinks and cleaning off our table between courses, and always checking to make sure we enjoyed everything. The menu was a modern take on traditional Greek cuisine. We really enjoyed the mussels appetizer, which was served in a tomato and feta based sauce similar to a mussels saganaki. The difference here was the flair of the dish being served on a flaming dish with a mint jelly on a spoon to pour over the mussels. Absolutely delicious. We also had their bread which tasted fresh and was served with a creamy feta and red pepper dipping sauce which was a great complement to the mussels. We had a spaghetti with prawns and rack of lamb for our main courses. Both of the dishes were plated stylishly and were rich and full of flavor. We had a chocolate souffle for dessert that turned heads at other tables when it was served with a red wine goblet steaming with dry ice that seemed designed to Instagram. We were so pleased with our dinner and the service that we made reservations for the next night as well. Our servers even introduced us to the chef!
