We stumbled upon this restaurant late in the evening as we were passing through the area and what a delight it was! The owner was very nice and helpful with our limited Italian. He brought us a free appetizer which was homemade crackers with a delicious cheese. He allowed us to split two dishes so we could try more than one thing on the menu. We ordered a pasta dish with saffron and homemade noodles; it was incredible! We were told the area is known for its amazing saffron. We had wine, water and 2 main courses for about 35â¬. We will be back again someday!

We asked for an honest fish selection for 4 of us and were treated to a wonderful feast for any lover of fish & seafood. The hosts took pride in the cuisine and care to explain the numerous courses. Great value at â¬45 per person, worth so much more. Delighted to say that we will undoubtedly visit again next year and tell family & friends who will also visit!

I heard about "Osteria dei Maltagliati" from a friend and as soon as I had the chance to come to Italy I visited the characteristic Torano Nuovo and reserved a table. I had a blast: excellent food, professional and friendly stuff, unique atmosphere. In particular, I tried some of the best specialties I ever had: "Spaghetti alla Pecorara" and the "Capretto", drinking a glass of Pepe wine, of course. I would definitely come back and reccommend Osteria dei Maltagliati to everyone in the Big Apple!

Beautiful place to have a dinner during the hot summer nights. We come here often and usually take meat based dishes, however they also specialize in baccalà for those who love that kind of fish.Although the place is huge usually it's fully bucked, I recommend calling in advance. Service is super fast and efficient and food is tasty and always super hot!

The Ducal Palace of Montagnola is a truly fascinating and full of history. Around the early 1400's the Duke of Acquaviva, Andrea Matteo II, he decided to build himself a residence in the locality of the Hillock country. Because of its location not far fro
Location incantevole in un palazzo storico, accoglienza e servizio molto cordiale e professionale. Antipasto ottimo, olive ascolane fatte in casa eccezionali.

Very Friendly service, waitress explained menu in English and helped us choose a typical lunch of the area, The food was served very efficiently, with each anti pasta dish explained. We did not have pasta course however it was served on neighbouring tables in large pans it looked fab! Main courses very tasty with decent portions. Overall great food, great service and the ambiance was beautiful.

We went in August and the restaurant was busy with local people which we took as a good sign. My daughter had chitarra which was OK. Our primi pasta dishes were generous and tasty although I felt that mine was made with a pre-made sauce with ingredients added. The grilled vegetables with our main course were nice and I had the veal which was well cooked but with a glutenous sauce.Service was a bit slow but a nice restaurant which I could recommend if you want an every day meal. Their pizzas are apparently good.

Lo Staff del "Ristorante Roma" comunica che la struttura rimarrà chiusa per ferie fino al 26 Settembre 2019. Grazie
After driving in from Rome, I stopped to have lunch at this Restaurant in Torano Nuovo. I enjoyed an fritto misto antipasto and some delicious tagliatelle. The meal was accompanied by some rose wine and concluded with cafe (espresso) and genziana. The service was quick and attentive and kind. The prices were reasonable. The food was awesome. I look forward to coming back when I return to TN. Alla Prossima!
