Ristorante raffinato, accogliente e contemporaneo. Il servizio è impeccabile, ma nello stesso tempo empatico, come sentirsi a casa propria.
This restaurant is tucked away in the quaint, narrow alleyways and streets that can only be in Italy. It is a gastronomic dream and the service is personable and attentive without being too much. My husband and I have visited many amazing restaurants from all over the world and Dissapore has to be visited. It’s probably going to be one one of those restaurants that become an an enigma like El Bulli, so don’t miss out!

We had not been back here since 2008 and heard decent reviews so we decided to try it. The outdoor area with tables was very nice, especially on a warm Puglia evening. We arrived earlier than most, 8:30 and were one of two couples seated at the 50 tables. Initially the waitresses were responsive and we received our pattatine fritte, beer and water quickly. There were a variety of pizzas to choose from and I ordered the Inferno and my wife ordered the Bufala. When the pizzas arrived they were fresh out of the oven. Unfortunately that's where things became average. The pizza dough tasted like the pre-packaged kind, not a very fresh dough and it was neither airy, nor crisp. The mozzarella did not taste very fresh either, and we weren't sure there was actually mozzarella di bufala on my wife's pizza. The calabrese sausage and salami picante were very tasty. As the restaurant started filling up the two waitresses seemed to be overwhelmed and no one came back to check on us during our meal. I had to flag one of the waitresses down to get our check. As mentioned in my title, the pizza was average...unfortunate to see so much acceptance for average pizza these days. We will continue our search of a great pizza in San Vito Dei Normanni.

The courtyard setting set expectations for a good evening, in view of the barbecue and giant paella pan. We had a house antipasto which we had chosen elsewhere but found that there was minimum preparation on some dishes which were clearly out of a packet. At this stage service was good and staff attentive, but as it got busier they became over-run. Then we had a mix of primi for 2 of us and barbecue for the other 2. Meals were served at different times. Pasta was a little average, with watery sauces. Finally we waited a while for “il conto” which, when it came, was more than we had expected.

This is a Pizzeria Ristorante not currently listed. The food is simple and delicious and the welcome is exteremely warm. We have eaten here 3 times now and have yet to be disappointed. You could have a simple pizza for 4 euros or sample grilled fresh praw
We ate here on our last evening whilst staying in the area and enjoyed the view over the church square during ta "Saints procession"The food was hot and tasty and had an authentic feel, portion size was adequate and the prices were good.We had a mixed seafood starter and a mixed meat starter, Orechiette with meatballs, Seafood pasta and Milanese with Spaghetti Napoli and everybody enjoyed their meal.

This small, rustic and homey restaurant is one of the leading "slow food" destinations of Puglia, and the menu reflects all of the hallmarks of that designation. Ingredients are hyper local, and the dishes reflect what the owners say are many of the traditional recipes of their Nonna Mena (in fact, the restaurant is in her former home). Our meal was essentially every possible appetizer they offer, followed by a double order of fried fish and calamari to be shared by the four of us at our table. Everything was both simple and delicious. There was certainly no room for dolci! Highly recommended.

X Food is an unusual but delightful restaurant. Run by disabled people it offers high quality rating in modern, artistic and comfortable surroundings. The pasta dishes were delicious, one of them being made for us, not on the menu, at our request. The risotto and my dessert were less to our taste but the original asparagus quiche and later ice cream were of top quality. My only disatisfaction was when the twenty five minute wait for the risotto turned into nearly an hour. Otherwise this was most certainly a highly recommended experience.
Where to eat Southern-Italian food in San Vito dei Normanni: The Best Restaurants and Bars

I’ve been travelling around the area since a couple of years so far and I found a little disappointment ‘bout this restaurant, especially if I’m working for a big group from another country and I see such a colourful and “Rated R” promotion on the social media. So I was attracted to go in, but I didn’t found the experience so charming. The expert waiter was really attentive, but too much intrusive in was our private conversation. We ordered only two mains: “Orecchiette con le rape ed i Taglioni al pomodoro e stracciatella”. Both quite nice but nothing supreme.Last, but not least, I personally wrote on the note “14th Birthday” but nothing happened. I believe this restaurant could do better, if it tries not to be lazy.
