We have been here every summer, for the past 5-8 years. Once again, we went here last week spontaneously, and once again, it was an amazing experience. The food, service, drinks, and atmosphere is awesome. We sat outside in the garden and the sun was setting as we drank beer and wine.....the food? always delicious!!!! We love love the grilled vegetables! They give you a huge plate filled with grilled vegetables, and we had this along with solo mio (steak), and another dish of meat (we don't remember the name of it.) The meal ended with dessert, orujo, and pleasant conversation with Gabriela, our lovely and patient server. Yes, we'll probably go back next week.

This looked perfect. Tables in the shade of trees on a hot evening. We needed a meal, so asked when the kitchen opened. We were told 9pm, which was fine as we had 20 minutes to have a drink first. At 9pm, the waitress took our order from the menu del dia. We were happy. At 9.45pm the waitress returned to say that our 2 starters from the menu were not available. By this time, the bar was packed and we had to re order instantly otherwise we wouldn't see the waitress for another 15 mins. The starters came out well after 10pm. The 'panache of vegetables' was a pile of frozen, over cooked veg and the soup tasted from a packet. The mains followed in due course and were cold and frankly poor, tasteless food. The 'cod' was 90% bones with tinned tomatoes on top. By this time the bar was so busy and the staff simply could not cope and it took 30 minutes to get the bill. The dining area was understaffed and poorly arranged. Every table was stacked high with dirty glasses and plates and every table was waiting for service. I know that eating late in Spain is the normal, so that wasn't the problem. It was just terrible, chaotic service and the worst food I've had in Spain.

If you come to visit us, you can taste the natural flavours of our food.We will be glad to share a special time with You and your family.
Whilst visiting family we decided to go out for a nice meal, my wife had heard of this restaurant which was highly recommended by friends .We arrived at 8pm, early by Spanish standards, this however caused no problems to staff who were friendly and helpful. The four of us had calamares x2,jamon and seta, ,morcilla, for starters . Elaine said the calamares was to die for. Main courses were solomillo x3, and Merluza washed down with a bottle of house red and a bottle of sparkling white. The starters and main meal was so large and filling that we couldn't face postre, so we finished off with coffee and chipitos. The quality of the food, the presentation, and the atmosphere was excellent, although not cheap at 140 euros, I would definately go again and recommend to friends.

This restaurant offers truly some of the best food I've ever tasted-well seasoned, well presented, fresh and accompanied by the softest potatoes and beautiful salads you could hope for!! However, your command of Spanish needs to be strong to simply order,as whilst the staff are friendly and smiling, they cannot speak any English.Lovely service, nice layout, good food, massive portions, and a good atmosphere.Overall,a thoroughly enjoyable experience!!

it was another fiesta when miguel and i walked into the house. if you drive into el tiemblo then just off the second roundabout is the bodeguita.we walked through the bar and turned right into the dining area.and sat down on the only vacant table. we both ordered menu of the day to which the waitress said that she was sorry but they had just sold the last one. she said we were welcome to choose from the main menu.i thought that seemed coincidence, but we were late already if we left now wewould never eat.when we did eat the food was lovely,we both enjoyed it. the ba might nothave been the most attractive but the food is great, i think i ould call again, earlier.

I stepped into this beautifully decorated restaurant and I just knew that I would enjoy my meal, after being shown to my seat by very helpful staff and ordering I was not wrong when a large juicy succulent steak was served,I washed the steak down with a bottle of red,i could not eat anymore and had to leave what appeared to be some fine postrees.altogether a very nice meal in very pleasant surroundings, I will certainly recommend this place when I write my review on trip advisor.

Setting:Right On the side of a Highway. Lots of parking available. First room is bar and on the backside the restaurant. It is not a high end restaurant, where you can expect a lounge atmosphere. It is a restaurant, where you get a whole menu and it is oriented towards workers and locals. Therefore the decorations are ... Let's say have their own local taste ...Food:You get for 11 EUR a full menu consisting of a starter (depending on the season 3-4 dishes to choose). I had a green salad with olives - very fresh. And then as the main dish you have a choice between 2 fish dishes or meat - I had a steak with fries. Also very good. Be aware that fries are done in olive oil and the steak is done in a pan with olive oil too. Desert coffee and wine is also included. Portion size is very generous. service:You need to speak Spanish, in case you have special requests (vegan) - they are very accommodating, if you are. Friendly and fast.I would return.
