My wife and I returned to Osteria Romantica last week on Tuesday night, 1/2 price bottle of wine night. Service is always good. We sat outside on a patio. Perfect weather.The New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc was quite good, bread-we ask for balsamic instead of the tomato sauce that normally is served with the bread, good, but not great, but my linguine di mare was very good, and reasonably priced.Always enjoyable, particularly on Tuesday night!

Wanted something in walking distance after traveling all day. This was a French restaurant and we loved everything. We sat outdoors on a beautiful evening. We started with huge shrimp cocktails and spicy sauce. The Caesar salad was perfectly anointed with dressing over crisp romaine with croutons and shaved cheese. I had fabulous lamb chops with sautéed spinach and sweet potato au gratin, which was unusual and delicious. The salmon was grilled with mashed potatoes and grilled Brussel sprouts. Perfect size, prepared perfectly. The chocolate praline mousse was perfect for the finish. Ashley our waitress was helpful, friendly and attentive.

Last time we dined here, the whole experience including service and food was absolutely top notch. Tonight, food was ok, just ok - good enough to not complain but not good enough to say anything nice. Presentation was appalling. Hope itâs a âone offâ as this restaurant should go back to being amazing.

There is much to choose from in Little Italy, San Diego. Go here. Nice space, unpretentious but great service, and the freshest pasta you will find! Although we didn't order from it, their vegan menu looked inventive and delicious--not your usual fare. All of the dishes we ordered were so well prepared, and the ravioli were melt-in-your-mouth tender. Don't skip dessert. The tiramisu was light and creamy and the cannoli was amazing. Last night in the US after our five week road trip. Great atmosphere, service and food; could not fault the place. Plenty of variety on menu with a great selection of beer and wine to chose from.
