Set just off the pedestrian area in the centre of Saintes, this courtyard offers light relief from the hustle and bustle of the main shopping area. The outdoor courtyard contains cobbles which makes for interesting balance issues for the outdoor furniture which, incidentally, arenât the most comfortable to sit on even with some provided pads. The food was delicious. The âPinxoâ are hanging skewers of fillet of beef which were both a great showpiece and fantastically tasting. I had the pork chops and the other meal in our foursome was duck. We all enjoyed our food considerably. Other than the comfort of the outdoor furniture our one other slight issue would be speed of service. The waiter was friendly enough but he seemed to be covering a large amount of customers and others who came in after us were served before us. We had a wait of around 30 mins just to give our drinks order, all the while baking in the near 30 degree sun. Indeed, we had a lengthy wait for our finished crockery to be cleaned away and for deserts to be ordered. Nevertheless we still recommend this place. Just donât count on a quick in and out!

We came to this oasis of hospitality on the banks of the River Charente near Saintes at the invitation of friends who had dined here before. We enjoyed a lunchtime table d'hote menu which was exceptional value, the service was first class as was the food. We were fortunate to have visited on a warm sunny day and eating al fresco in the riverside garden was a delight, I looked at the main indoor seating area and if the weather is not so good for our next visit I shall be more than happy to dine indoors albeit that the gardens are a star attraction. A real pleasure to be repeated in the near future.

Excellentes qualité et hygiène et c'est important pour un kebab. D'ailleurs quand y a du monde cela ne trompe pas. Beaucoup de choix que ce soit en galettes, pains ou assiettes avec de la quantité à un prix très correct. Bref que du plus pour un repas vite fait sur le pouce. Accueil parfait et sympathique.
