I’ve been here several times for their lunch buffet ($15.00). They keep all offerings supplied with freshly prepared dishes. From the soup to the different choices of desserts, everything is tasty, fresh and well prepared. The service is excellent, too. This is a restaurant that I’ll keep on visiting.

Olive & Citrus

The restaurant is nicely decorated and refreshingly quiet....quiet enough where you can actually visit with everyone at your table! Our server, Raymond, was very personable, friendly and efficient! The food....was unique, flavorful and delicious. We all enjoyed the Zaatar Flatbread and the Winter Salad was beautiful as well as bursting with wonderful flavors. They offered 4 vegetarian main dishes and each one sounded good. I decided on the Vegetarian Paella, and it was excellent! I have to say that I was disappointed in the Bread plate we ordered - it was only 3 actual pieces of bread with the end of the loaf. Not enough for the 4 people in our party! It also did not have enough flavor for me. I did not care for the Polenta dish I ordered as a side. It was to liquid and didn't even have a polenta taste. The Budino dessert was just ok. Having said that, we honestly loved this place! It is a bit pricey but, considering the atmosphere, food & service...I have to say that this is my new favorite place to eat in Redlands!

I'm in Redlands, at least once a month. I have always heard that the food here is very delicious. I finally stopped by for dinner on a Saturday night, in December. There is seating inside and it is very casual-which I love.. You order your food and then it is brought to your table. I ordered hummus, a greek salad and the lamb & beef blend gyro. Out of everything I ordered, the hummus was the best. The gyro was ok. The salad dressing was HORRIBLE!!!! It was very sour. The service was slow.

Phoenicia

We found Phoenicia to have something for everyone. My daughter loves lamb and had the lamb Kabob and said the meat was cooked perfectly. I tasted some and found the cut of meat was not gamey, was well cooked and tender. My son had the chicken and was similarly satisfied. My wife had the falafel Salad plate. The salad was fresh, there was plenty of falafel and it was hot and tender the way it should be cooked. We are a bit snobby when it comes to humus and did not find it wanting at all. I had the mousaka and while I enjoyed it very much, anyone of Greek decent would not have been happy. They forgot to cook the mousaka with meat that day and so it was vegetarian mousaka, definitely not what you expect when you order a dish like this (it was advertised as having spiced ground beef). We found the pita was quite ordinary, but that would not detract us from strongly recommending. This is not a typical sit-down and have a waiter take your order place. it is a bit drab and you order at the counter and they bring you your food, so if you are looking for more of a formal dinning situation then had best move on.
