This was our third visit. Some years ago we went in the evening at the height of the summer and were not impressed. One of our friends said we should try again and we had an enjoyable dinner last Autumn. We then had an excellent lunch in April, two starters, a very generous shared pasta, really two for the price of one, two mixed grills of excellent quality fish, one dessert and coffee which was very reasonably priced particularly for Castiglione della Pescaia which is generally expensive. Very pleasant owners and good service.

I was first impressed with the service. We came with our 8 months old baby and they treated him first with seat, all the service for him, and warmed his food before even getting the menu. Maybe too much hehe, but good experience. Then we ordered pizza, and they were simply delicious! I think they were the best we had in our stay in Italy. But it was easy to say that their speciality was sea food - by seeing the plates at the other tables, and what a better way to have by a perfect sea view. Totally recommended.

This beautiful little restaurant and bar offers a perfect location to have dinner or aperitivi on the beach. The staff is really nice and you have a good choice of fresh seafood meals served on the porch overlooking the beautiful beach of La Rocchette. We enjoyed lunch and dinner at this restaurant that also always welcomed our children and made sure they quickly got their meals so they could go down to the beach and play while we finished our great glass of whine "con calma".

We stayed at this property which is a family owned and operated beautiful hotel. It is not frequented by Americans which made the experience all the more interesting. The food is well prepared and the breakfasts and dinner are plentiful - you could gain weight as everything is so good! The rooms are nice - not glamorous but well lit.

What is really nice about this restaurants is a sea view that was magnificent even that rainy evening so I may only imagine how beautiful it could be during the bright summer evenings. The restaurant itself is very average, comparing to the general level of the restaurants in Toscana. I can't say something bad about the food: it was good but without that charm you find in the Toscanian trattoria. We have ordered one regular mixed salat for my wife, pasta and filetto for me and a desert at the end. All that was accompanied with a glass of local wine and a bottle of mineral water. The bill was around Euro 75 that could be reasonable somewhere else in a nice restaurant but for Bussola it was too much. The strives was good and that made our dinner good and remarkable.

Molo G was overpriced small portions of skimpy seafood. All Three of us left hungry after 140 plus Euros. The fish soup was not good. Go to Brittany for good fish soup. Communications with the serverswas difficult and caused problems to our disadvantage. Went down the street for desert.

It is a good restaurant but it is really hard to find a bad one in Toscana. We have ordered one entree, 1 soup to share and 2 main courses with a glass of wine and a bottle of mineral water. That all resulted around Euro 35. The food was really good and the octopus soup was great. The same about the service - it was on a good level. There is a nice view on the golf fields and the Punta Ala area. It is not easy to reach the restaurant if you have no car: it takes around 10 minutes from Punta Ala by a winding road. What I am sure about is that it is not the best choice for any special event: the interior of the restaurant is too average and looks like a regular place for the breakfast at the hotel. By the way: we came to Punta Ala too late when all the restaurants had closed already till 7 PM. That one was the only one open so it may be the only location for the late lunch in the town.

A great place! Food is always fresh and flavoursome, plus service is friendly and professional. Very nicely designed space, light, modern and airy, with nice, discreet music in the background. The place also comes alive in the evenings, pre-, during and post-dinner, with live concerts. The staff running this restaurant manages another establishment in southern Italy, with a totally different food concept. Ask for info.
