Called in here for a drink after walking from Levante beach - was very impressed by hospitality and cleanliness. Returned 2 days later for lunchtime meal and intend to go back before our week is over - have seen they are shut Tuesdays.

Cozy place to enjoy with friends, family, and for businessmen. Decorated with recycled elements, with a rustic and modern touch. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, tapas and traditional food.
Read the reviews and thought we would go. Must say we had a really good meal for a set menu at 14 euros. The waiter explained the dishâs in great details which made a choice easy. The food and the service was good. We are returning in January and we will come back here the paella. Please go because this family run restaurant needs to continue to supply simple and quality food at a good price.

What a disgrace that they donât speak proper English at all. We thought we booked a table but when we arrived there was no table. The real sad, un-Michelin type element was they offered no solution, no solace, no service gesture whatsoever. I get it when a reservation goes bad, and it happens sometimes. But they even got mad at us after we suggested they improved their English a bit in order to prevent such mistakes. The food might be great (they say) but their empathy levels are shockingly low. If they wouldâve just offered us a drink and ordered us a cab we wouldâve felt fine but they treated us quite bad. Your reservation was booked for January 12 2019, the reservation was attended by the chef in person who speaks perfectly English. Today you have called to say that you were late, and I do not understand very much English, so I asked please to wait a moment to attend them better in English, since you do not speak either Spanish or French. You passed me the call to a friend of yours who speaks Spanish and confirmed me that you were Mr. Holtonn. When the real Mr. Holtonn shows up at the restaurant, I called you up to three occasions with no answer. Once you were in the restaurant, we were just looking at how to fix it, I asked you to wait, that in less than an hour we would set a table for you to attend tonight, not the one you had reserved for January 12.As they did not want to wait for me to solve the problem of misunderstanding of the reservation, we could not do anything for you to have dinner here today. From number 29 to 12, there is a lot of difference in any language, this Saturday 29 was complete, even with reservations waiting for about ten days, which was very unlikely that you could run the reserve for today 29. We called for the taxi indeed. We deeply regret this misunderstanding.El Xato

Just top of the bill. Food is superb. Service excellent. We came here on recommendation by my parents and drove from Moraira to Castell de Castells. It is a small search in the small village to find the iron door entrance. Absolutely worth to drive a while to have a wonderful lunch or diner.

After reading the positive reviews we decided to visit Palmen, our first visit. Reserved a table for 6pm and although when we arrived the restaurant was empty it soon filled upThe welcome and service from Anil and Mina was very good with Anil explaining the special a la carte dishes. They also had a good Menu del Dia at â¬14.95 although we decided on specials and choice from the a la carte. The quality and portion size of the food were excellent. We will certainly be visiting Palmen again and would recommend reserving a table as itâs very popular

Very enjoyable Saturday lunch with family. Personal service with the chef (owner) and charming waitress explaining what was on offer. As a bread enthusiast the servicio pan, being chunky bread with alioli and tomato was lovely. The following tomate con salazones (dried salty tuna) unusual and enjoyable. As for my "sandwich of pork" (bocata de magro con tomato), this stew was exquisitely cooked. Personally I would have preferred a few green beans or some cous cous or arroz with it rather than more bread. Others had fish dishes which were not to my taste. We opted for sharing the surprise dessert (Corte Alicantino) whereupon the chef brought a plate of ice cream on a brioche type bun and promptly set alight to the top half! Quite a performance. The restaurant is in a basement down a flight of stairs. The walls are adorned with customer comments - you are invited to add your own. A fun meal which takes time as a small staff and tiny kitchen. So do choose a day when you are at your leisure and can enjoy a slow paced meal. Thanks somuch for your comment. We celebrate you enjoyed the Sotaterra experience. And we appreciate very much your suggestions.Just apologize again for the delay in the service, which is not usual at Sotaterra. As metioned our oven broke in the precise moment of serve you, so I had to "improvise" another technique to cook your dishes.Hope to see you soon.

All the meals were well cooked and seasoned fine but just lacking anything to make them memorable. Service was good and the dining room well appointed. We just expected the standard to be higher. Wouldnât bother returning.

Da silvaâs is a family owned restaurant Which provides a relaxed atmosphere with lovely decor and a good quality dining experience with excellent service.
This smallish restaurant, run by a fabulous husband and wife team, and cooking staff who really know how to make the most of the fabulous local produce, Da Silva's is a MUST if you are within travelling distance. Superb food, lovely community ambience, and so reasonable. Specials Board everyday add to an exceptional Carte. We were so knocked-out on our first visit, we managed to scrounge a table for the following evening (bookings pretty much essential, I would think). Best restaurant we visited on our trip, and with Dolman in Costa Teguise, our best of the year. Cannot recommend highly enough.Hi GuysIts really lovely to hear you enjoyed visiting DaSilvas and decided to give us such a great review. We really appreciate your comments and hope if your in the area you will visit again. Many thanksBrian,Michelle and team

Nice little restaurant situated in the old town of Alicante whit home made kitchen. Mediterranean, mexican and greek kitchen.
I'm going to keep this short, because there is a plethora of glowing reviews about this amazing five table restaurant. That it compares with or exceeds the culinary experiences we've had at many famous destination dining spots is simply stunning when you consider that it's entire staff consists of the husband and wife team of Olivia and Fernando. The dining experience was exceptional, every dish was memorable. This restaurant is for those who adore great food. Just two tips. Make reservations and order their foie gras -- it will take you to gastronomic heaven.

Homemade Italian Food with Modern Twist
We discovered this place on our last night in Benidorm - if only we'd discovered it earlier. An authentic Italian experience rather than the mass produced fare in most of Benidorm's other Italian restaurants. The tomato and burrata salad was more than enough for two to share. The carbonara was light and tasty. Desserts were nice -tiramisu and cheesecake and service was attentive and friendly. Why look further for a great place to eat?
