We loved this place. Great for kids (pizza & pasta) lovely for adults with traditional French cuisine. I would certainly recommend it.

Typical looking bistrot with service to match, but with far better than average bistrot food and higher than average prices. We had fish and ham and both tasted fabulous. One of our best meals in a month in France (note we don't normally do haute cuisine).

Outstanding selection of tapas. Really liked the garlic prawns and potato with alioli. Not sure why "DonBoy" found the potatoes to strongly garlic flavoured. The service was a little slow - all the more time to enjoy the views to Canigo and drink a pichet of the excellent house rosé! Everything was piping hot and freshly cooked. We returned later in the week and really enjoyed a Jazz Concert - part of the Les Nits d'Eus festival. Les Nits is an annual event held at the cafe and a few other local venues. It has an eclectic programme ranging from chamber music to jazz and some poetry too.

Eus is a just a splendid village and the restaurant is perched between the houses, in a small place, calm, relaxing, lovely. The view of the Canigou is stunning. We can see the summit, the surroundings.. The restaurant as a friendly staff, the prices are not very expensive. Don't wait for an excellent lunch, it is merely tasty with both local products and drinks. For me, it's almost an obligation to stay some minutes, take a drink and seeing the view.

We had arrived late in the evening at our B&B Villa Lafabreque and needed a dinner spot. We walked to town and were delighted to find El Patio. They were very crowded and we did have to wait a bit for service, but we were so glad to find a spot still open. The food was local fare, but done well and our server was very apologetic for the slow service. I am glad that we made this choice and enjoyed a nice dinner.

This is a typical Catalan restaurant. Nothing flash or pretensions but good honest french cooking at its best! Small restaurant with lovely ambience lovely patron, serving good food. We will be back!

I visited this friendly little restaurant twice in 5 days. On the first visit I chose the calamari from the specials menu, which was delicious. I haven't tasted calamari as tasty as that outside Greece! The second visit, I chose the Catalan lasagne - which was sublime. Spicy, but not hot & absolutely fantastic. The waiter on both nights was friendly & made me feel very welcome. I highly recommend this restaurant & saw families with small children on both nights I visited - so it's family friendly too.

Went in and received a warm welcome. Chose from the â¬23menu that gave a choice of 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 desserts. All the food was based on regional recipes but with a twist. As it was the 1st of May, all the ladies received a Lilly of the Valley flower as is the tradition dating back to 1590.

We kept going back to eat here, it was relaxed, great varied menu and brilliant service. Nice location for any time of day.

A regular haunt when visiting Prades. Cathy and David provide a friendly and informal place to eat with creative dishes and ideas - their Gazpacho soup is excellent
