Reviews on Mediterranean food in Playa de las Americas, Arona, Canary Islands. Playa de las Americas, near Tenerife's southwestern tip, is a lively, upbeat resort built in the 1960s. Today it's crammed with British restaurants, bars and hotels and North European tourists. Its white sands attract hordes of sun worshippers, while nearby El Medano is famed for its windsurfing. Top attractions include sailing, golf and dinner theater shows, but it's the nightlife on Veronica's Strip that is the top draw for the crowds of young tourists who flock here to party around the clock.

Cozy independent tapas restaurant and gin bar with a fantastic selection of over 40 Spanish craft beers. House infused gins and organic wines. We offer a diverse and vibrant gastronomic experience. Our goal is to enrich the concept of tapas by offering a
Came here twice on our last visit to Tenerife. Great food, lovely views and lovely drinks list. We look forward to coming back!

Panoramic restaurant on the magnificent beach of Las Vistas, leaned out on the ocean, lobsters can be tasted just fished in our aquarium a lot of varied of fresh fish, not neglecting the meat and typical Italian dishes as spaghetti to the amatriciana, tag
We visited whilst on holiday (myself, husband and 2 yr old son) and what can I say... amazing!! Weâre not even gluten intolerant but visited because of the reviews and werenât disappointed. The sunset views were stunning, the staff were polite and went out of their way to make us feel at home and talked us through each dish in detail and even did half portions for our little boy. We got to taste three wines before choosing our selection and from start to finish cannot fault anything. Everything is made from scratch and the kitchen staff even came out throughout our night to say hello. We were given a colouring book and crayons for our little boy and he was well and truly looked after whilst we were here - which we were a little concerned about before we came as didnât know how child friendly the restaurant was.Thank you so much and we will sure be back when we visit the area next year!

Absolutely lovely meal, great atmosphere and very welcoming service. They clearly care that you enjoy yourselves. Starter of garlic bread, tomatoes and olives / cheese was simple and delicious and I need to come back to Tenerife just to have the beautifully cooked salmon main again. My husbandâs pulled pork burger was also really good and just like the food, the wine and beers were lovely and great value for money! And then there was the tiramisu...best to book.

We came to this restaurant a couple of years ago and it was fabulous so decided to return. The sharing starter was great but the seafood linguine wasnât as good as last time. The amount of seafood in it had diminished. Was a nice meal but to me it has lost its wow factor and was a little disappointed.

Fresh and homemade food typical Spanish. You can share every plate.. Homemade sangria. Enjoy La Iberoteka.. we are inside the After Work Plaza in Las Americas... Saturday we are open for the lunch time with a different menu..
Best way to describe this place is, itâs a small tapas (media portion) bar in a private courtyard of an apartment complex festooned with colourful umbrellas hanging above you. The staff are very friendly and happy to help you choose, âthree tapas for two peopleâ was the recommendation of our smiling server. The chef was working in the small open kitchen single handed so we didnât expect lots of dishes to appear simultaneously, it wonât happen, itâs tapas to order. We received a complementary dish of olives to nibble whilst we deliberated the printed menu and hand written specials board. We choose the plate of very tasty mixed Iberian meats with cheese that was creamy and delicious, a dish of tender calamari and plate of asparagus cooked to perfection with Iberian ham and prawn pieces, the plates arrived in that order with time to spare between. The chef explained that he changes the specials very frequently but never removes the house special of Beef as itâs asked all the time. A very acceptable Albariño (â¬16.50, same price as the house vino), bottle of water and bread totalled â¬50.30

My wife and I visited this small yet stylish restaurant in July of this year. I had read some reviews that billed it as Michelin star quality at affordable prices, and this was a great description of what we experienced. We were encouraged to go for the 6 course tasting menu which had a nice blend of meat and seafood. The food was fantastic in both concept and appearance but most importantly on taste. Every bite was utterly delicious from the selection of breads with innovative dip to the Mexican fish taco, beef carpaccio, followed to name a few by slow cooked ribs and a Delicious chocolate gnash for desert. I highly recommenced this restaurant, the service by Josef was friendly and informative also without fault. We look forward to out next visit.thank you!!! for having enjoyed with us !!! I hope to see you soon and we will have more gastronomic news

Wow what a guy! What great food at a great price. Only one chap who takes your orders, pours the drinks, cooks your food and then once he's done that he comes out and sings on the karaoke machine!! 3 of us ate here. Ordered steak and mixed meat grill, 2 beers, a wine and apple juice this only came to 24.60 euro and was outstanding value for the food and service we received. As others have already said please don't be put off by outward appearance as you will not be disappointed.

It has always been our dream and goal to which we aspire. We travelled all over the world to explore, to learn, to be open for every culture and cuisine, to be inspired and the most important is to 'create'. To create unique flavors, delicious food recipe
We went to Ardi twice during our holiday because we enjoyed it so much. They are SO friendly there and were really helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. Everything we ate was delicious, especially the burrata wrapped in serrano ham and the beef carpaccio. It was a little bit out of the way of the seafront (a 10-15 minute walk), but it is worth going a bit out of the way for. We would definitely come here again next time we come to Tenerife.

Small and cozy restaurant near the sea where you can taste details but above all excellent dishes of high quality and freshness. maximum customer accuracy and guaranteed relaxation in our garden area.
We booked to come after reading reviews, when we arrived we found out to our upset that you had to prebook the paella and couldnât order it on the night (very unusual). The goats cheese and chorizo was nice, as well as the calamari, however the cod fish croquettes were overdone and hard. The cocktails were nice, we enjoyed those! This was supposed to be a full meal, however as we came for the paella and couldnât we just made it a little snack.

For more than 500 years one of the staple foods of the Canary Islands has been a milled flour known as gofio, ground in windmills that at one time peppered the islands. Few working mills now remain. For Don Felipe, the man who first established the restau
