Excellent food at affordable prices. My friend said the gyro is tie for the best he has ever had. As good as his favorite places in NYC. I had the chicken shawarma plate and it was tasty. They also accommodated my dietary needs. If you mention itâs your first visit they give each guest a piece of homemade Baklava. And since we are on the topic of Baklava... it was phenomenal. âAs good as you can get in Istanbulâ. A direct quote from a Baklava connoisseur. Enjoy. Great town. Kind staff. Also they dress the town up for Christmas and it looks like a Hallmark Christmas film set. Some of you will really appreciate this comment most. OH also as a benefit behind the restaurant is a park. Highly recommend a stroll both down the creek and over the walking bridge and driving bridges. Short walk and lovely scenery.... complete with chickens!!! Watch out as they tend to roam the parking lot.

Moroccan / Mediterranean Cuisine. Also, Oasis Restaurant offers its catering services to the central coast of California for over 25 years. We do weddings, corporate event and and other gathering parties catering events.
Had seen the Oasis Restaurant a few times traveling past towards downtown, it is across the street from the Flagship Restaurant and KonTiki Inn. Have wanted to stop and try when we are weekending down there, and finally did. This location is the old "Shell Cafe", and has been remodeled and updated with a very nice ambiance. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and we also talked to the owner who was very nice and friendly as well. This is their 2nd location, having another one in San Luis Obispo. They have a very nice menu selection, and we had high hopes for the cuisine, based on being Moroccan and Mediterranean, and we were not disappointed at all. The appetizer sampler was fantastic, and the main course was amazing and tasted so good !! They provide large portions, so be prepared to go hungry and/or take some home. The Lamb and Honey Chicken were both delicious, as was the lamb shank. This is a new hidden gem in the Pismo area, and we hope they continue to be there for a long time, we will be going back again, and again. If you enjoy Moroccan or Mediterranean food, then would highly suggest Oasis.... Also if you are seated on the west side of the restaurant overlooking the outdoor area, you have a nice view of the sunset over part of the ocean.
