We came here based upon the recommendation of someone at the bed and breakfast we were staying at. The steak was very good and flavorful. The cod got mixed reviews. All in all, a good experience but nothing outstanding.

The hotel receptonist recommended this restaurant and he awa right. Homely, friendly and very, very Portuguese. Meal was excellent and the fish superb. Wine, as you'd expect in the Douro valley, was brilliant. Great atmosphere with locals, families and tourist dining here. Love the way the bill was totted up on the (paper) tablecloth.Well worth the money.. which wasn't much.

Recommended by our accommodation host. Dined mid week. Not all dishes available mid week, you have to preorder some. Great start with delicious mushrooms and a tasty chutney. Very tender veal fillet, and I had the salted cod. Excellent. Most mains are designed for sharing for two people, but they offer half serves. Extensive local wine list and great service by Pedro. The night views over the valley were a bonus. Going back.

We had a really nice lunch here after a morning of wine tasting. The food is classic/traditional Portuguese served in a modern setting. The wine list is very good. The service was excellent. The food was very good all around.

Douro In in Ancede Portugal is an excellent place to eat. Waiter Joel was very knowledgeable and service was great. Owner was very friendly. They made our experience special. And the price was excellent. I would highly recommend this to people traveling in the area.

Modern restaurant inserted in the dock of CP, with a traditional but creative cuisine. It has in the Bísaro suckling pig its main dish.
SUS was recommended by our hotel as a great place for lunch and they were right! The best part was the wine pairing. The servers know their wines and now we do to!The breads were excellent as were the charcuterie and salads. Make this place a must if you are near Regua!Lots of parking nearby the train station...just remember to put a Euro in the parking meter!!

RESTAURANT The Wine House Hotel's restaurant is worth a visit on its own and an amazing gastronomic experience. With elegant, modern and sober decoration, its main area allows you to embrace the river with the view and immediately enjoy one of the best of
Make no mistake, this is one of the nicest meals in all of Portugal. Not cheap, but for tastfulness, and presentation, this is as good as it gets.I thought €3 per jug of water was a bit over the top, but otherwise, DELICIOUS!

Restaurant was busy, but we really enjoyed watching all the large tables of locals and families loudly enjoying their time together. Waiter was very friendly and patient. He brought his father over to meet us at the end of our meal with a complimentary glass of port. Large servings of food cooked really well. We had grilled fish and steak. Reasonably priced. Would very much recommend.

Relaxed and pleasant place where you can taste all our products (wines and olive oil) paired with light and healthy food. We are small and local producer.
Did a one day train trip to Regua to visit the Wine Museum and to see the Douro. Reserved lunch at Aneto Wine and Table. Absolutely spectacular! Amazingly reasonable prices, wonderful friendly service (thank you Carla), and both the food and the wine were delicious. Tuna carpaccio and the roasted duck on toast are not to be missed.

All the positive reviews are spot on, the food and wine were delicious. This place epitomizes a small, personalized authentic Portuguese dining experience. Two things I should mention. They ONLY accept cash. I knew this when I made the reservation, but conveniently forgot to check my notes and didn't have enough. The owner kindly told us not to worry, he'd help us get cash after the meal. After dinner, he ended up walking my husband to the nearby ATM, so he wouldn't lose his way! Secondly, the price/quality ratio in both restaurants where we dined in this small town was by far the best in our 2.5 week trip to Spain and Portugal. When I asked the owner why everything was so reasonable here, he explained that they try hard to keep prices down, so that locals can still afford to dine out, not just the tourists. I love that!
