Having lived in Turkey a few years, I was searching for a Turkish restaurant serving authentic Turkish food. After visiting several places, I stumbled upon Istanbul Café Restaurant. The assortment of delicious foods is sure to entice even the pickiest of eaters. Great food, excellent prices, and nice atmosphere. Definitely worth my one hour drive to this establishment!

Mediterraneo was created out of a desire to explore and share the unique, seasonal, healthy opportunities of the Mediterranean Cuisine, from the shores of Southern Europe to the coast of North Africa. At Mediterraneo, we carefully and without compromise c
Well deserved rating. Was not expecting much from a lunch salad, but was surprised with my grilled chicken salad and my wifeâs grill shrimp salad. We were full but ask to see the dessert menu. Wow my wife loved her chocolate/hazelnut cake. My choice of pistachio cake was outstanding
What a great find!! Five of us enjoyed an amazing meal here. We started with the Syraan Appetizer, a mixture of hummus, tahini, labneh, and warm pita bread. Everything tasted homemade, and there was more than enough on one plate for all of us. We all had the Syraan BBQ, which was a huge plate consisting of a kofta kabob, shish tawook, a shrimp kebab, meat patty, and one of the tastiest lamb chops I have ever had. Oh, there was so much food, but it was so good we could not stop eating. The waitress was friendly, and carefully explained all of the dishes that we were not familiar with. We were made to feel very welcome in the restaurant. All of the flavors were absolutely delicious, and next time we are in the Paterson area we will definitely come here again.

Tucked away in the suburb of Hawthorne is this gem of a restaurant. Entering the parking lot your greeted by valet service making the visit comfortable unless your the type that prefers self-parking. The hostess was charming and seated us immediately. I recommend reservations. A full service bar that has a mixologist expertly making any drink you desire. After a few cocktails we began an assortment of appetizers and then our entree's. The filet was cooked with the exact temperature and delicious Their wine list is not so typical with varietals from Africa and other regions from around the world. An all around great experience.

All I can say is wow was this delicious, well-price, and satisfying! The hummus and shwarma are amazing! The service is really good: the waiters are very friendly and attentive to you. The outside patio is also an added bonus too! I would definitely go there again.

This is the story of the Panteleakis family and their dedication to what they know best - what they share most - what they love. Ask anyone who has been here. They will tell you about the home made bread, rolled and baked by the hands of Peter, the owner.
We recently discovered Oceanos. The food is fabulous. Roasted Beets with Almond Garlic sauce is amazing. The Tuna Tartar and Salmon were spectacular too. However the service was slow and inattentive. Our server added extra drinks to our bill and refused to remove them. Be forewarned check your bill carefully. Be prepared to be overwhelmed by the chef and underwhelmed by the service.

Took my kids to eat Middle Eastern Food for the first time and they loved it. My daughter usually sticks to beef so she had the beef shishkobob entre, my son and I had the lamb shishkobob. Meet was so tender, tasty and just the right size portion. My daughter tried the lamb and said next time she will order that. The hummus was excellent. My son grabbed a menu and said we will definitely be returning.

I have been here several times through out the years. This place is nicely decorated and the menu has a nice variety. The only problem is i think the main dishes are a bit overpriced for the portion. But the food is good. I tried the liver and it was great. Used to be more flavorful before. But still good. Rice pudding is awesome. Deserts are a must here. I wad also very much impressed by the service. Very attentive servers. I will be back again.

Our first time back since new ownership. We were very pleased that nothing has changed. The food, service and atmosphere was amazing as always. George came over to see how we were enjoying our meal. They brought over 4 Greek cookies and a free dessert . Will definitely be back

Toros Turkish Restaurant in Clifton is the original of this four location restaurant and our favorite. Authentic Turkish menu with all types of lamb, chicken, beef, seafood items. Full bar and valet parking on weekends make this a pleasurable go to place. Wonderful, friendly staff.
