Inhabited since the year 1000, Aruba is an island rich in history and culture. Eagle Beach is an idyllic Caribbean beach, with white sands and turquoise waters, and is frequented by water sports enthusiasts. Palm Beach, on the island's west side, offers perfect swimming conditions and powdery sand. Those more concerned with conditions under the waves won't want to miss the wreck of the torpedoed tanker Pedernales, a popular diving site. Aruba is only 20 miles long, thus easily explored by bike or moped.

Ikeâs Bistro boasts a delicious menu of chefâs specialties. While Mediterranean at heart, it is inspired by Caribbean ingredients. With seating in the garden terrace or around the tropical pool, the experience is enchanting and all menu items are extremel
Ike's Bistro is on the grounds of the Manchebo Beach Resort and Spa. We the breakfast here daily and had dinner one evening. The view is outstanding. You can look out to the water, but the poole is right in front of the restaurant. The birds can be a bit challenging. Rebecca, the hostess, was delightful. One day I ordered off the menu and had the spinach eggs benedict. It was not the best. The other days I opted for the buffet which had various options including an omelet station. Dinner was great. We had a shrimp and scallop appetizer which was very good. My main course was the short ribs which was also very tasty. The food here is very well seasoned. Thank you for your wonderful review and for acknowledging the great service by Rebecca and the other staff members. As to the birds, we are trying environmentally save methods to scare the birds away and we are getting more and more successful at it,

ALTAMAR a place with authentic homemade Italian food, warm inviting ambiance and a genuine friendly service that certainly will give each guest a unique and exceptional dining experience.
Went on recommendation of friends. Loved our first experience, food, service and atmosphere. Returned two weeks later and could not believe that it was the same restaurant. Service was good but nothing compared to first visit. We ordered exactly the same meal since we enjoyed it so much the first time, it was just awful! Found out that it was a substitute chef....they sent their regular one to Sole Mare, their chef was sick. People next to us were very upset about their meal as well, there were five of them and they said they will never be back. Neither will we.

We've been in Bucanner during our vacation in Aruba in October 2019 and compared with all the restaurants we've been there definitely was the best one. The food was fresh and delicious and, specially, the SIZE of the portions was REASENABLE for the price, including the price/size of the house white wine.Thank you EduardoGDom for the " Defiantly the best option in Aruba" review. The Famous Buccaneer is known for serving LARGE portions at reasonable prices for the past 39 years. We take pride is every meal and every drink providing excellent service to everyone.Thank you again for writing this 5 star review and I hope to see you again on your next visit to " The Famous Buccaneer!!!James W. Quiet little place a bit off of the beaten path but worth finding. Parking is easy and cabs available. When we first arrived there were only a couple tables occupied but this quickly changed as several groups arrived shortly thereafter. I got the impression that these people were returnees as they seemed to know everyone. Chef was engaged with customers and visited tables to discuss the food and wine menu.Wait staff seemed to hustle bringing water and bread to the table, we ordered appetizers; my wife had a garden salad and I had an original greek salad (no lettuce), we were both quite satisfied with these dishes. I had the Gnocchi Signature dish which had chunks of seafood (shrimp, lobster, etc) and my wife went for the classic Spaghetti and Meatballs. We were both delighted with our choices. Desert was a home made apple pie (4") with a dollop of ice cream which we shared. Very nice. Ordered our wine but the glass. 10% discount on the bill when paying cash.

A local glittering restaurant in the heart of Oranjestad, world-class seafood, prime steaks, and unparalleled service in a vibrant, up-scale setting.
What a gem. We were so happy with the ambience, service, friendliness and most of all the amazing food. We both had a whole red snapper that was cooked to perfection. Melt in your mouth good! Our server, Kenia, couldnât have been nicer. We really enjoyed his warm welcome and his patience with our trying to decide what to have (great menu!). After many years of visiting Aruba and itâs abundance of great restaurants, Opus will be a must visit each trip and most likely more than once per trip!
