This restaurant is offering fresh fish and meat, also Dalmatian 's food and drinks. You can also reserve the table, because it is very busy. It is family restaurant, but also for big group. The terrace has air-coolers for hot days...,and indoor also air c
The food was excellent , beautifully presented deserves 5 star, ambient also very nice, but the waitress is very intrusive and boring. She also said her name Rosmary to mention her...That is too much. Why???She is ok with service but nothing special, I would say little boring..after reading other reviews, obviously she speaks that often..I think this is a bad for restaurant with such a good offer.Hy!I am sorry because of disturb..She didn't mean anything bad.Dalmation people is little bit to laut and talk too much.Thank you for your review!

We arrived at a busy time and ate indoors as the outside tables were all full. Like most of the restaurants in the old town they offer both indoor and outdoor seating. The service was slow due to the number of tables but the staff were very helpful and great with the children who were practising their best Croatian. The food is traditional, freshly cooked and very tasty. I thought it was good value and the local lager I tried was lovely. My grilled lamb was cooked very well and the rest of the family's meals all looked good too. We would return again.

Visited after reading other reviews as we like local traditional food. We had a thoroughly enjoyable meal enhanced with great service and conversation with the owner who could not have been more passionate and helpful about his home made cuisine. Very reasonably priced and highly recommended .

Came upon this restuarant by chance as we were walking past and saw the menu before we saw the restaurant. The host pointed out the tradtional local dishes they specialised in. As we were looking to try some traditional dishes we thought we'd try here. Boy we weren't disappointed!Tucked away down a side alley, we sat in a small courtyard, and even though we were the only 2 there that didn't spoil it. We decided to go with the traditional lamb stew dish that was cooked over the coals. It was amazing! together with some local red wine and local cheese to start, this was the best meal we had in our weeks holiday. So good we went back the next night for more! You need to try this place you won't regret it .

Continuous family tradition since 1981, in the very heart of the Old town, Restaurant Puljiz offers traditional Croatian and international cuisine, refreshments, cocktails, desserts and Croatian wines from carefully selected cellars.
We ate here whilst on holiday. The waiting staff were lovely. The setting is lovely with a rooftop area. The food was distinctly average. I had a flabby seabass which I suspect was kept under a hotplate, it did not arrive sizzling hot. My companions ordered steak which was topped in a sauce tasting of liver, which overwhelmed the steak. The vegetable chard tasted earthy and looked like slop. Putting this down to experience we were about to pay up and leave, when the manageress started screaming at customers behind us who had complained about their food. She ranted and raged that they did not know what they were talking about. It was horrible. What if someone pushed to tears your staff/ colleague who has been working with people over 20 years and never lost nerve and cried because of a guest? If someone was constantly rude, offensive to your family, what would you do? I reacted. Yes, I was loud and wanted that person to leave the restaurant and apologize to my colleague, without any hesitation and without paying. The situation was caused by a very rude woman whose problem was not the food only. Actually, she ate it and then decided to make a fuss. Her family kept apologizing for her behavior all the time. I also apologized to you and everybody else who was there for the scene caused. I never did it before and surely will handle it differently should something like that repeat. All the guests understood what was going on, accepted my apology, and no one complained about anything that night. So, now, tell me, if it was so, why did you eat bad fish, earthy-like chard and funny tasting sauce (we don't serve liver at all), finished your meal and didn't say a word to our staff who could have done something to fix it on spot.Instead of asking a proper service for yourself, you chose to write your first review on TA, a week after the visit, about other's people business.Client is a king. Pod Odrnom is a family run restaurant, established in 1967. We are passionate about Dalmatian and Mediterranean cuisine, thus our menu is based on local products and groceries. We offer steaks and traditional seafood prepared on the charcoal grill, as wel
On our last night in Omis we found this restaurant by accident. And Iâm so lucky we did! Itâs very easy to miss, but please donât. We had our best meal of the week here, and we think they have the best vegetarian food in Omis! The staff is really friendly and service-minded, and everyone knows english which is a big plus. They have a long wine list with both local wine and international well-known ones. Our waitor was really helpful and recommended a nice chardonnay with the food. They also have sparkling wines by glass and whole bottles. As a starter we had a lovely cheese plate with local croatian cheeses, olives, nuts and jams (bread included). For our main courses we had one pasta with mozzarella, ruccola and tomatoes. The chef even made us one truffle pasta without prusciotto which it normally comes with! Both dishes were delicious and the portions generous. They also have deserts, different coffees and so on. I am so glad that we found this place. After a few days in Omis as a vegetarian you get really tired of tasteless vegetarian risotto and pasta with grilled vegetables like every restaurant has as their only vegetarian options... I will definetely come back and recommend it to all my vegetarian friends! We are pleased that we have completed your day and left a positive impression. Thank you for your time and attention that you have spent to leave us a review. Thank you for visiting, we hope to see you again.

Great location, great staff, great food and overall a great dining experience. We had bruschetta to start - OMG - local cheese shavings on top, balsamic, olive oil, garlic, cherry tomatoes and lots of Omis love made this one of the tastiest bruschetta Iâve ever had. This was followed by sea bream (for me) and tuna pizza (for my wife). Only one negative were the olives on the pizza were not de-stoned before hand. Otherwise - beautiful. This is one of the many fine restaurants in Omis and in the local streets. To be honest you cannot go wrong with any place we have eaten at so far in Omis

I really have fallen in love with Croatian food. This restaurant is ideally located and lovely views over the small bay it nestles in. The food portions here are again massive and you wont need another mortgage to eat here. Excellent staff who spoke perfect English. The meal was exsqusite and the local fish and meat perfectly cooked, allowing the true flavour of the local delicassy to take full control. Lovely restaurant and highly recommended.

Clean restaurant, very efficient service and very tasty pizzas. There is an amazing selection of pizzas available - approx 38 to choose from plus pasta other stuff at the back of the menu (but we never got to that part). The waiter was very friendly and appears to make any pizza you want even if itâs not on the menu. The price was very reasonable (see photo)I would defiantly recommend this place for a hearty lunch and I wish you bon appetite
