Reviews on Mediterranean food in Oberstdorf, Bavaria, Germany. One of Germany’s biggest and best-known resorts, Bavarian Alpine village Oberstdorf is popular with families year round. It’s home to Heini-Klopfer-Skiflugschanze, the world's second largest ski-jumping hill (and site of the famous "agony of defeat" ski-jump wipeout clip from ABC's Wide World of Sports). Nearby are the ski areas of Nebelhorn, Kanzelwand/Fellhorn and Kleinwalsertal.

We had a very bad experience With this hotel. We tried to cancel Our reservation several months Ahead of Our stay. We got a Message back telling us that we had to pay 80% of the prie unless they could rent it out to someone else. We then rebooked the room. It ended With a double charge first for the room we canselled an then for Our stay. The hotel was completely outdated. The rooms was small, no minibar, no hotelbar. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!!!

Attended a special family dinner here. Various pizzas, fresh tuna salad, cream pasta, and calamari were ordered and everything was delicious. We ordered takeout our last night in Oberstdorf to feed 20 people. Service and timing were great and food was all delicious even after transport to our hotel.

After being refused entry to seven german restaurants which were full we decided to try this little half empty Italian restaurant in a cellar. I was pleasantly surprised, I had tortellini and it was amazing. The staff were attentive and pretty good, well worth a look if you need a break from german.

The pizzas are likely the best in town. They have a new menu, a change of ownership I think but it still has a good variety of Italian and local dishes. The salads are huge and very tasty.
