Delicious tastes of the Mediterranean is now near you! First traditional charcoal grill, barbeque restaurant has now opened in Norwich city at Anglia Square. Serving freshly prepared traditional food; succulent meat dishes, salad and freshly made bread. W
Rainy Saturday after the big hot, all plans disrupted by the English weather, who'd have thought. Rang our emergency friends and concensus was here. For once group think was right. After a stroll down Magdallen Street, enjoying the very non Norfolk vibe, and a quick stop at the Plaster's, we rolled in a mere hour late, with more than booked . No problems, said the very friendly staff who just pushed more tables together, and seated us straight away.A veritable feast ensued. The two sharing platters and unending supply of flat bread was actually enough to feed all 6 of us by itself. The lamb chops had by bit enough for 6 like wise. The Greek salad was huge and the sea bream likewise. You may notice a trend here, but as they say it's not all about size. All the dishes were fresh, and well cooked.Simple food, well done with good service.I drank EFS and the rest drank a dry rose and the house red with no complaints. So a good time was had by all, and getting the bill was fine too.Strongly recommended for casual meals with friends.

It was as beautiful night so decided to walk home. The restaurant had just opened for the evening so I decided to treat myself. The staff were delightful and the food absolutely gorgeous - I went for some seafood which was cooked to perfection. This is now on my favourite list!

Italia Nostra is a delightful Italian restaurant specialising in northern Italian cuisine. We are located in central Norwich housed in a charming Georgian building and are only moments away from the theatre.
It's always a real pleasure to dine at Italia Nostra. It is our favourite restaurant in Norwich and we always try to eat here at least once when we visit the city. Mario and his wife are lovely people and you will eat really well! Highly recommended.

The dining experience is slick without being pretentious. Elegantly decorated and well presented. Staff are courteous, engaging and genuinely look proud to be working there. The food is well executed, casual and delicious and different enough to stand out from the competition. A lively, vibrant environment, which remains relaxed and affordable. For me, whilst the basement bar is great for an arrival drink, the dining area on the first floor provides the most ambient space to eat in. Well worth a visit. Hello,Thank you for your positive and well rounded review.I would love to know what we could have done to receive 5 bubbles? Feel free to pop me over an email at [email protected] to let me know.I hope to see you again soonKind regards,Emma

Went for lunch here last week after reading great reviews about the food. Unfortunately we didnt have a good experience there and will not return. We ordered cheesy garlic bread which, when it came, had no garlic in it at all. My arrabiata sauce seemed to have no chilli or garlic in it and so tasted like any tomato sauce. My partners bolognaise had little flavour apart from the pancetta in it. There was very little beef, no garlic or lovely sauce. The wine was corcked and returned. It was replaced. Very disappointing but we can cook better at home. Certainly lacked any Italian flavours.Dear 473foodieI canât believe I only just noticed your review, Iâve been looking forward to make some sort of contact with you ever since you left our restaurant to thank you for the laughters, my staff and I as well as the other guests that heard your comments couldnât stop laughing after you left. To make the story more clear to other readers, the disastrous experience described above is written by the same customer that couldnât understand that what was in his plate was pancetta rather than bacon, that he ordered tagliatelle al Ragù, not spag Bol (God knows what that is anyway!), the expectation of garlic in the beef ragù was only based on a fantasy of his as we do not advertise garlic in our ragù, but dulcis in fundo this customer decides to embarrass himself even more by complaining about a wine (Montepulciano d'Abruzzo) being corked despite the fact that I unscrewed the aluminium cap right at his table :) :) It is not a secret that working in this industry is a very stressful affair and thatâs why we desperately need more customers like 473foodie that gift us joyful moments that make our days go by.And the name foodie? :):) 473foodie please come back soon!

One of Norwich's oldest pubs, we serve a wide range of real ales, craft beers, wines and spirits alongside a World Tapas menu. We also have an updated courtyard area and a billiards table.
First visit and really enjoyed the world tapas. Perfect food to have in the pub with a pint. As well as the normal menu, there were specials on a little blackboard. In particular we liked the falafel, patatas bravas and the tempura prawns and veggies. Between 4 of us we had 12 tapas and olives. Really impressed with the selection, all food was fresh and piping hot. Reasonably priced and would return. Thanks for your review. We love the tapas too. We cook it all to order to ensure its fresh and hot which means lots of prep by our lovely chefs. Hope to see you again soon

Jorgeâs is a modern Portuguese restaurant tucked away in Orford Yard, just off Red Lion Street in Norwich city centre. Our tasty food is inspired by travels around Portugal and further afield - from the tascas and seafood restaurants of Portugal to the me
Nice little place with very friendly and helpful staff. Food was very tasty and portion size was very satisfying. There was a good selection of options including vegetarian and of everything we had we were all very happy. We were there for Dinner and really enjoyed it all but keep in mind that Tapas is only served at Lunch which we didn't realise and were a little disapointed (our fault for not checking). The dinner was still delicious though so we weren't disappointed for long. Thanks so much for your lovely review. We do have Tapas Tuesday every Tuesday evening where the chef chooses a set menu of 5 dishes each week, it changes based on the best dishes available that week. We look forward to welcoming you back soon. Many thanks,Eleanor

Saporita is the union of taste, semplicity and traditional of the real italian street food.
This little place gets it just right, it keeps it simple and does what it does so well. They were so willing to adapt to my dietary requirements and produce something that was perfect in every way. I had a piadina made from dough that was absolutely stunning, it just melted in the mouth I really do not know how they do it. It was topped with toppings of my choice and seasoned to absolute perfection. This is one of those places which is a real delight to come across. The prices were very reasonable, the service delightful.
