A friend introduced us to this restaurant very close to the Steigenberger Hotel where we were staying for a week.We ate there several times after that and loved the pineapple and ham pizza (only one large size), Lasagne, Rigatoni Gorganzola, Mango Salad, Caesar Salad, Tomato Soup, and Chicken Salad. The service was great and the atmosphere was lively. Many young people were enjoying the food inside and outside on their patio.Ciao Cheri,Thank you very much for giving us a good rating. We were pleased to have you with us. And we're glad you enjoyed your meal. As you may have noticed, all our dishes are freshly prepared âá la mammaâ in our open kitchen. Its difficult to review this one. With the sauces and extra chillis they very obligingly put on the table the food was good. Without this, utterly bland. We had the chilli chicken (not spicy at all), chicken jalfrezi and tandoori paneer. All very very lightly spiced. If you ever have been to Asia, you are going to need the extra spices. Once that has been accomplished, the food is ok. The service is excellent though. And right opposite is.. The cake place Zieger..;-)

We booked this restaurant on a Friday evening and we enjoyed its nice and cosy atmopshere. The menu also in English is written on blackboards and has a Mediterranean influence: we had pot au feu and winter salad and then fish.The main problem - apart from the starter portions being a bit too small - is that service can improve: we had to wait one hour for main courses and then they arrived without the changes that we requested.Good that they offered the beer as a compensation when we paid the reasonable bill.

we had dinner there twice and the pasta dishes where really delicious and perfectly prepared. Try the Tagliolini with truffle oil mixed in a big Parmesan cheese which they do not have on the menu card but make for customers if asked to do so. Unfortunately the service was not really good on both evenings. the home-made desserts are lovely.

Had dinner here during a business meeting not too long ago. Ended up in one of the dining rooms which had a great ambiance. Enjoyed their 4-course menu together with partnering wines. Great place for a more luxurious dinner without paying star prices. Food was delicious and it was a great experience with an eye for detail. Would love to go back with my better half some day.

After several nights of having convenience food for dinner it was time for a proper meal. This one was a winner thanks to your recommendation ....it was helpful that they had an extensive English menu to choose from too as unfortunately we donât speak German. It was well priced too.

Fabulous restaurant! Itâs located outside the old town, but thereâs a tram stop a 5-minute walk away. The food was superb. The iced lemon yoghurt soup was amazing. So was the amuse bouche, which was a wonderful avocado-infused sour cream concoction served over tomato bread. I loved my pork and octopus (which included a delicious pumpernickel paté topped with a sun-dried tomato glaze). The octopus, by the way, was the best Iâve ever had. My wifeâs guinea fowl was perfectly cooked. The sour cream rhubarb ice cream was heavenly. This was one of the best two or three meal we had during our month-long stay in Germany (and one of the others has a Michelin star). The chef is delightfully creativeâwe think heâs going to be a star himself.We ate outside, on a warm summer evening, which was very pleasant. The wait staff was informative, and steered us to excellent but reasonably priced wines, which paired well with our mains. I couldnât recommend Stresa more highlyâit was a real high point of our trip.

This is the hidden jem of Chemnitz. Roland Keilholz and his Team are doing a wonderful Job preparing the best Quality of dishes in town. Light German cuisine with italian and asian influences. The best meat and fish you get within 50 kilometers. And yet it is not very expensive. You definitely have to go there.
