Zuzu is a perfect small restaurant near the river that delivers a wonderful dining experience. We sat outside on the front of the restaurant which is the perfect place to be when the weather is permitting. Great creative tapas dishes were recommended by our server, Joseph. He was instrumental in helping us navigate thru all of the menu choices that you have at Zuzu. Each item was $8-$15. I recommend the white anchovies and the cheese plate. If we had showed up with bigger appetites we would have tried the paella. It looked delicious. Maybe next time.

We ordered drinks and food from the bar and the bar staff were exceptional and brilliantly attentive and efficient. Unfortunately the food and food service staff were not as good and our food was speedily dropped off by a waiter rather more interested in flirting with other guests than doing his job well. We had to call him back to ask for dressings, and then shortly after call him back again as our food was cold and over cooked.The bar manager immediately jumped in as soon as he clocked things were not ok and was superb in his attitude and professionalism.Unfortunately the food overall was not very interesting and rather bland, even when properly cooked and hot, which was a shame as only a few tweaks would make this restaurant really great.

This is a tiny unassuming very small restaurant that's mainly takeout. There are about 8 tables total. Very un Napa, definitely not fancy, and the food is terrific.Middle Eastern cuisine, pita, falafel, salads etc. $10-$15 per item. Very large portion, I can never finish my meal. But, that's me. Limited alcohol, some wines and beer.House made olive and condiments.A welcome change from the usual high end dining.
