We needed a break from expensive foods in noisy restaurants and LA 500 provided it. Set on a side street the restaurant was comfortable and the service attentive. The pizza away excellent paired with a nice Merlot. I also loved the Calzone. We sat inside on a chilly evening, but they have outdoor seating as well.

We managed to get a booking at this restaurant on Sat 14 May. At first it looks like many of the others nearby in the touristy bit of town but it was really an authentic Italian restaurant with a fairly small menu but specialising in what they do best - pasta based dishes. The sea food tagliatelle was delicious as was the pasta with smoked salmon. One of the tastiest Italian meals I have had for years.

Very rarely do I give 5 stars but the atmosphere and food were great. The host who looks like serpico entertained us from start to end. No menu but great Italian food and wine kept coming.

Bistronomic French cuisine created by a team of professionals proud to use use carefully- sourced fresh local and regional products. Welcoming service and decor in one of the oldest buildings in the historic center of Nantes. Three different dining spaces
Extraordinary perfection from food to ambiance. Le Bouchon is a must visit restaurant in the city of Nantes, France. The cozy ambiance from the front door into the various dining salons captures your attention as you are shown to your table by the owner Pascal. The gastro experience begins with a cocktail and wine selection that matches any Paris restaurant. The regional cuisine is prepared with a contemporary flair. I highly recommend the scallops. I generally eat gluten free and the chef accommodated my pallet while not sacrificing selection and flavor from appetizer to dessert. We visited Le Bouchon in the early spring but I would love to be at the restaurant in the summer dining in their outside garden. To Pascal and her family I thank you for the most memorable dining experience in Nantes at Le Bouchon.
