A place to be to be seen at village level. Kitchen looks nice, clean and modern. Tapas at no charge are offered with drinks

The best atmosphere and facilities to visit with kids to play and interacting with others. Also is good for adults and socialise, having something to drink and eat "costillas".

As Iberia no longer does a meal service on their short flights, Tapas Fidalgo was a great choice an end of week/fin de semana menu del dia as it is very near the airport and the food was very good. You could choose from tuna stuffed tomato in asparagus sauce or fabada to start, both of which were very good, tasty and delicious. The cod or pork secreto main course were both excellent and served with some veggies and fries. House wine has included by the carafe, water, coffee , desert and all for 17 euro a head , great value .The waiter worked very hard and happy understanding my school Spanish. The décor was modern and the floor was interesting plus there is lots of parking outside. It also seemed to be a popular stop for pilgrims on the Camino and they were rewarded with free tapas with their drinks in the bar area. There is also a petrol station on the way back to the airport if you needed to fill up and return your car full.

We had walked passed this place earlier in the day and thought is looked cute so popped in for lunch. It was a stormy and miserable day and initially we were the only people sat in the upstairs restaurant. However, before our starters were out the room was already full. The owner proudly brought up some of the fresh fish that had been caught that day and it did all look spectacular. We had mussels and fresh anchovies to start, I'm not the biggest fan of mussels but they were very good, the anchovies however, were out of this world! It's lovely to see a place run as passionately as Casa Mari, if/when I return to Cudillero I will be popping in again.

Though the cuisine in Asturias is delicious there are no accompanying vegetables. So after a week I was desperate - I asked if I returned the following evening was it possible that I could have a plate of grilled vegetables. The chef shopped especially apparently and Iâve just enjoyed a wonderful meal of assorted vegetables and goats cheese. Iâm going back for a repeat tomorrow evening . Every restaurant so far, when asked, has just said âthereâs saladâ. This is a restaurant whose cuisine is delicious and whom are also happy to accommodate their patrons for which I am very grateful.

We stumbled on to this restaurant while out exploring Cudillero on a rainy day in November. The seafood dishes are wonderful. The table next to us looked like locals - and they had pre-ordered the paella. Which looked amazing.

My wife and I visited some of this small coastal village on our drive between Paradors based on recommendations from staff in Ribadeo. The village of Cudillero is so picturesque. We picked the Opera for lunch after a quick check on Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed. Food was very good, service was friendly/excellent. The server (owner) convinced me into trying the local sidra with the self serve table dispenser. A very unique experience. We had a very enjoyable meal. We were lucky to find a table there for lunch because most of the tables were already reserved. Prices are on the high side.

No wonder this place is always packed to the gills! Itâs in the center of the bay in this small, absolutely beautiful town. Surrounded by a handful of competitors, El Remo knows itâs the best, and proves it gallantly. We ordered there starters - garlic shrimp, anchovies (fried), and salad with white asparagus. We were ready to order more, and the waitress smiled and told us that that would probably be enough. How many restaurants do you do you go to where a waitress actually tells you to stop ordering? We really appreciated it, because the portions were large. The bread was excellent. We also had the local cider for which the region is famous, but for us, it didnât really hit the spot.

Not a fancy restaurant, a traditional bar style place but very friendly and helpful staff and the 4 of us each had a different fish dish, all were excellent.

Stopped by chance for lunch and found the food was lovely and owners / staff friendly.Only a couple of minutes from the main road between Santander and A Coruna and well worth a visit.
