This place is so friendly, with a great atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a delicious meal of antipasti (regional specialities); ragu ravioli; grilled meats; creme caramel; delight of white chocolate; bavarian midberries. The wine was gorgeous. I asked for a dry white wine with minerality. I had a wine typical of northern Italy. We were staying in Aulla and found this place by searching on trip advisor. If you are lucky enough to be nearby, do go along. This place was buzzing with people. A great night!

We loved the fresh vibe of this place. All the wait staff appear to be such beautiful people! It was a very friendly atmosphere. Food was very nice. We were given "amor" for dessert -- it's a light wafer/s'more kind of tasting thing and it was divine. If I go back to Pontremoli, this is the place I will visit the first night. Thank you so much for the wonderful compliments! We hope to see you again very soon.

A busy place and for good reason. We had an excellent dinner here. My wife ordred a primo piatto of Tagliatelle with funghi. I ordered the local specialty Testaroli with funghi. Both were outstanding! For a secondo piatto we split an order of coniglio (stewed rabbit). With a half litre of rosso and acqua frizzante, only 47 euro. The people here were very friendly and treat you like a local. Service was great and the atmosphere was rustic romantic. The cook took the time to wave to us as we left. Pontremoli is such a nice village.

High quality food, wonderful location especially in summer. Chianina steak often available for meat lovers... I have been eating here several times in the last few years and never regretted.

The dining area is the perfect venue for a memorable meal. Each dish, from antipasti to selected primi piatti to secondi piatti to dolci were creative, amazing culinary feats. Go with plenty of friends, so you can sample more of the offerings! The Owner and waitstaff were very gracious. With such a memorable experience, I hope some day to return and try other selections from the menu.

Typical lunigiana cooking restaurant the welcoming and wide room is bright and situated by little "borgo" and millennial "pieve"with an enchanting view over the apuan alps
This restaurant is definitely off the beaten path but a real gem.We ordered two pasta dishes which tasted so fresh and light and then we saw the woman cooking the food and I was reminded of my grandmother, who was also a wonderful cook. The second dish was a sliced steak covered in sliced radicchio and cheese which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The meal finished with a chocolate lava cake....I am very sorry I didn't take a picture of that...the whole meal was delicious and we will return!

We live in Pontremoli and had wanted to try La Luna for some time having read good reviews, so had booked a table for last night. We duly arrived, eventually were shown to our table by a charmless waitress, where we sat, and sat, and sat. No one offered us anything at all, not a drink no menus, nothing, in spite of staff hurrying backwards and forwards, we could catch no-oneâs attention. We were ignored for roughly 20 minutes, as were one other couple opposite us, until eventually the lady who had shown us to our table came and asked us whether we wanted still or sparkling water. We said that we would like to order some wine and asked for menus. We were told in no uncertain terms that wine could only be ordered after we had ordered food, so water and menus were then both brought. At this point we were already on the verge of walking out having waited so long and with such grumpy service, but we studied the menus, and waited, and waited some more, until after at least another 10 minutes had passed and still no-one had taken our order, we overpaid for the water leaving money on the table and left. A thoroughly awful experience!! Happily we walked around the corner to another little restaurant slightly off the beaten track, behind the old theatre in the Piazza S. Christina. This is the Osteria Caveau del Teatro Relais, where we had a truly excellent meal in a charming old building, served by a a delightful owner who more than made up for the previous unpleasant experience. We will not be returning to La Luna.

We were late for lunch. We arrived at 14:15! Our friend who was there before us, spoke to the owner who accepted to keep the restaurant open just for the three of us!It was an incredible experience. Sig. Melchiore, the owner of this beautiful, old fashioned restaurant, dismissed all his staff anegan, converted himself into a cook! An elegant cook! He carefully asked what we were eating (difficult since I am eating vegan, my friend Kosher) and 30 minutes later he came out of the kitchen with ultra tasty Italian food. The three of us had always a nice chat in between a three-course meal with Melchiore. 2.5 hours flew by and we have not even noticed. This was such a unique experience that if you have a car in 5 Terre region/Tuscany/La Spezia, coming to this place will definitely make your trip to Tuscany even more memorable.

This highly recommended restaurant, off the beaten track, was a disappointment. We ordered the fresh pasta with black truffles and the baby leg of lamb. The truffles were sliced way too thick and they were hard and woody. This dish completely lacked any truffle flavor. The lamb was tender and fell off the bone. It is served bare and you need to order any vegetable, ala carte. Very strange for the prices they charge.Overall, it is not a restaurant i would go out if my way to eat at.Salve.ci dispiace enormemente che non abbiate apprezzato i nostri tagliolini al tartufo.(pensate che vengono a mangiarli da tutto il mondo)e che dire dell'agnello?

From Modena to La Spezia (Autostrada della Cisa), I decided to stop for lunch in this lovely spot of Tuscan Apennines. An ancient fortress used by Prince Brignole as a summer residence, restored by the current owner and transformed into a restaurant and a cooking academy. All products are of the highest quality. Average price, ca 30/35 euro including the excellent wine of the house. Recommended to book in advance for lunch and dinner.
