Italian culture accepts that you will find small children in restaurants in the evening. What is unacceptable is treating the dining room like a playroom. A group of children and parents were so loud that at times we could hardly speak.This was a great shame as the food was a good standard. My steak was excellent as was the Antipasto Vecchia Casa. However the evening was also spoilt by terribly slow service.I won't be returning.

Vengo qui spesso a pranzo ed è come sentirsi a casa! La cucina è davvero genuina, con i piatti della tradizione locale ben cucinati e lâaccoglienza calorosa e cordiale. Sopra tutto la pasta e patate, reinterpretata sapientemente e dal sapore corposo e ricco... ed il âmalloneâ meglio conosciuto come rape e patate. su richiesta anche baccalà cucinato come meglio si crede. Il locale nella sua semplicità è accogliente e funzionale. Ben fatto, continuate cosi!

This restaurant is located on the side of a hill near Montoro, a small town near Salerno. The small altitude and position allows a natural fresh environment during hot summers, the path to reach this restaurant requires a little skill in driving and the car is the only way to reach it. Because of the location, the parking lots available, in case of large events, are insufficient. They have neither a menu nor a wine chart, but the waiters describe the plates available at the moment, this could be a problem if you are not familiar with the italian language and if you wanna see prices before ordering. The food is good, the service is accurate and reasonably fast. We ordered a meal based on sea fish, starting with some tastings and a really tender octopus. The main course was based on two different kind of pasta, scialatielli and paccheri followed by a bream fish really fresh and well cooked. Finally the dessert was delicious and well served with an espresso caffe upon request. They have WiFi available to customers and accept credit cards, this proves some interest toward some particular needs of clients.

Bell'agriturismo immerso nel verde' con una bella terrazza panoramica, ampio giardino con i giochini per i bimbi e vari animali da cortile. Spazi ampi anche all'interno. Personale gentilissimo, cibo molto buono e casereccio. Siamo stati davvero bene!Torneremo.

i visited this restaurant two weeks ago and just ate pizza / usually i have to bring my own condiments, that is mushrooms and zucchini as i cannot eat oil on my pizza and cannot eat cheese / everywhere i have taken these ingredients, they simply add them to the pizza base and cook the pizza for me / the owner that took the order was quite unwilling initially to meet my needs, so i simply said i understood but that i would leave as i did not want to eat from the menue...........he then understood my sincere dietic problems and after i told him that i would take full responsibility for any problems / he was tranquil .my husband and i ordered our pizzas and also wine and water / the wine was very good, a house red and it was an excellent choice, my husband had a pizza with the geneose of ramata onions and i had my specific pizza which was good / we then just wanted to try something from the menue / my husband chose their signature pasta which should have been fresh pasta with meat strips, ramata onions and cheese / he was bought meat ball pasta with a dried pasta choice and the onion sauce / the plate was abbundant and very tastey even though not what he had ordered, i must admist it was anovel combination and he enjoyed it.i had a plate of boiled greens with no oil and it was fine /i cannot criticise the food and the wine in any way / the plates that were bought to the other diners where of a really good quality and very professionally plated / really great looking and i am sure, great tasting food / my only complaint is the timing / we spent nearly 3 hours here to eat a pizza and a pasta dish / ok it was saturday night, ok the restaurant was busy but it was just pizza and pasta this is my only criticism as the staff were really nice, they were really attentive and you culd see that they were aware that they had diners waiting, they are doing their very best but due to the complexity i guess of some of the dishes and maybe that fact that there is no specific pizza station / all of the food that is cooked and the pizzas are prepared in the kitchen / this makes the flow of food to the tables difficult to manage I WILL RETURN AS I AM SURE THAT THE FOOD IS FANTASTIC and give another review. I wish this restaurant every success as with just better time management and maybe the addition of a pizza chef on a busy night, i am sure that this will become one of the nicest places to eat in the area..Best wishes and again, the food is really, really good..........

While in search of another restaurant, we got frustrated and decided to stop at the next restaurant we saw. Lucky for us, we found Ristorante Villa Gloria! The food was so good, the people were so friendly, the fellow guests were having a good time in the catering room. Over all, one of the most memorable meals of our trip.The seafood was incredible.

Picked up 8 variety pizza for family gathering, along with some home made croquettes.this family owned place shows you what original brick oven fresh made pizza is about.I tried 4 of them and all were delicious, especially the Di davola spicy version I ordered.where can you buy 8 personal medium pizzas under Euro 40.00 and leave very happy.take out service is great, they even offered me a free beer for the wait.go guys, worth trying. we are coming back tomorrow....

The 'Torali RistoPub' was modelled on a British Pub where the owner worked and studied English. Also purveying British Beers and well known Lagers.The Staff are very friendly and most speak english, nothing is too much trouble.We came here with relatives, Gino, Enza, Bruno, Lucia and also Granddaughter Olivia, Mrs B and myself. We had home made Gnocchi (not the potato type) covered with melted Gorgonzola cheese, char grilled chicken with salad and spaghetti carbonara. Followed by Panna cotta (Italian for "cooked cream") and topped with wild berries and a traditional Ricotta Easter Pie.I would recommend this Restaurant if you are passing through, whether heading or returning from your holidays as it is not far from the beaten track. If you wanted to stay a night or two, I am sure they would be most obliging.A must goto venue.

Small restaurant in a small neighborhood with super tasty food! We hade lunch and the staff suggested starters from the see, they were all super nice. After starters we hade pasta with Clams and pasta with Pesto, they were both good! Recommend this if you are close by, even worth a detour.

Domenica, con mia moglie, decidiamo d fare tappa c/o qst agriturismo a 2 passi dalla città .Il primo impatto è quello del ben curato e accogliente. Il giusto compromesso tra lâelegante e il casereccio. La stragrande maggioranza degli ingredienti proposti sono di produzione propria, tradizionali dellâirpinia. Dal primo assaggio di antipasti fino al dolce , ci si immerge in un percorso plurisensoriale alla scoperta dei prodotti della nostra terra e nn solo (fantastica la mortadella d cinghiale). Il personale è abbastanza qualificato e gentile, anke se con qlc "pecca", sicuramente dovuta al fatto delle oltre 100 persone sedute. Per quanto riguarda il giudizio delle portate, abbiamo ordinato praticamente dalla A alla Z. Antipasti buoni buoni. Dei primi, i i ravioli di ricotta la fanno da padrone. La tagliata di carne morbida e cotta come si deve (rigorosamente al sangue). Suggerirei un pò più di contorni (poke patate nel piatto). Castagnaccio sublime.Conto assolutamente consono alla genuinità dei prodotti, alla manifattura dei piatti e alla cura della struttura. 4 STELLE solo x la leggera attesa tra una portata e l'altra.Sicuramente c ritorneremo. BRAVI.
