We were a large group and chose the selection of food. This gave a good selection of the regional Italian food and it just kept coming.... We eat very well, the experience was made even better by the consumption of some excellent regional wines.Very good food and service.

There are good places, very good places and in the end there are unforgettable places. The "locanda dell'abate"is one of them. The menu is daily changed. The food was extraordinary and the chef has a unique fantasy with the ingriedients. The day I've been there they served me fish, I'm not usually crazy of it but it took the chef advices. I've enjoyed till the last bit.The place is situated in the old and hystorical side if the town and the atmosphere is really good..

Restaurant is separated from a bar. Family-run small restaurant. Some of the pastas are home made and delicious. Very well prepared and honest food at a very affordable price. Service is also friendly and helpfull. Top!

This restaurant came recommended by our hotel as one of the two best in this little off the tourist track town. Location is great, good ambiance, and initially, friendly if a bit inattentive service... about average for the region.The food was very good, well above average. We enjoyed each plate.However, as the night progressed and the small place became busier (locals here tend not to begin supper until 2200/2230!) service deteriorated badly. We were left sitting for nearly 45 minutes with no water, no wine, no coffee, etc... with the wait staff seemingly trying to actively avoid us (again, very small place) and ignoring our polite attempts to get their attention. And even once we did more rudely get their attention, it took another 20 minutes or so before we actually received a check.I'm a common traveler to Italy and I understand the nature of service there and how it differs from American expectations. But our bad experience here was not due to cultural differences or unrealistic expectations; it was simply poor service. A real disappointment especially since midway through the meal this review would have been closer to 4 stars....

Ho cenato oramai tante volte in questa "carnetteria" specialmente d'estate sulla terrazza con l'aria fresca della sera durante le festività il locale è sempre pieno e dunque conviene prenotare tante varietà di carne a prezzi accessibili e cotte in modo impeccabile servizio molto "easy" assolutamente da provare.
