The atmosphere and service are excellent. The dishes are expensive for Ecuador. As expected frutti di mare pasta (14$) was very good and portion was very big. But lasagne (8.5$) was a disappointment, without tomato sauce, the pasta itself overcooked. that us why I give it only 4 stars. House wine is ok!

We've been to Rocio several times on different trips to Montanita. It looks upmarket but the food is reasonably priced. I've had the seared tuna and some of their fish specials, all cooked perfectly. The greek meze is very good too. Wine is not too expensive, the only thing that they should change is that using a bank card adds on a huge surcharge (I think it was 15%) so added on to the IVA (12%) it's a bit of a jump from the prices on the boards.

This place is truly the hidden gem of montañita. $5 for most entrees and $1/$1.50 for apps. Incredible flavors and presentation...I would have expected to pay >$10 for everything. It's all presented on wooden boards with amazing homemade sauces and the freshest ingredients. The owner/chef is so passionate about everything he creates. He cooks outside so you can really get to know him. He'll explain all the flavors to you in awesome detail, so you get really excited about everything you eat. To top it off, everything is so healthy! We became so obsessed with this place, we are there 4 nights in a row so we could try everything on the menu!

Where would you find ultimate freshness, vegetables cooked to perfection, service that will not rest until you leave utterly satisfied? To Ecuadorian standards this is a top notch restaurant hidden in the small town of Olon. Absolute must try and probably the best in Olon and might I say its surroundings?! Don't hesitate, eat here of you appreciate healthy, fresh and delicious sea food, served with a smile

This Venezuelan restaurant is to die for, arepas are their speciality of course (don't leave without trying the "Pabellón") but burgers are really good too, they come with delicious local potatoes. Everything is so well presented and hosts are really cool!Overall couldn't recommend it better, stayed in Olon 3 nights and ended up coming to this place once a day!!!Thanks so much for your review! That comment inspire us to getting better every day.
