Expect great food in a simply amazing environment. We loved the raw fishes tartare and the rest of the food. We had raw antipasti and cooked antipasti and web really liked them. The only low is the price a little bit higher than other similar places...

In the heart of the old town centre, near to the majestic De' Monti's castle of Corigliano d'Otranto, one of the nine Grecia Salentina's district, there is Olo Kalò. It is characterized by country style rooms, with exposed stone walls (pietra leccese) and
We have been there twice for dinner during our stay in Salento and have been quite happy about this resto. Good wines with a good value for money, my parmigiana with tuna (typical Southern dish prepared with fish instead of meat or other veggies) is definitely worth the try. the dessert (millefeuilles with cinnamon and apple) was sublime. Downside: the owner is quite rude with the staff-which I don't appreciate- and not so nice with the clients either, according to his whims. Dear guest, thanks for your review. I'm sorry that you thought bad of me. I'm not usually rude with my staff neither with the guests. I hope to see you again to prove it. Olo Kalò's owner

... (and we only ever had good ones, but that was exceptional). The place is spotless, an excelently renovated old house. The food simply superb, and served with gusto and good hospitality. Alessandro and Tiziano have done an excellent job of putting this business together, and went out of their way to ensure that we have a good experience. And they *really* know how to cook meat properly to order.Thank you for a delicious and most memorable dinner!

We visited Estia Ristorante for an al fresco dinner while staying in a nearby Masseria. The food was extraordinarily good, especially the veal fillet. Estia is in side street in the historic centre of the town and it may pay to get your bearings organised before you go.As always in Puglia, things really only got going after 9pm, when the tables started filling up rapidly. Corigliano D'Otranto is a sleepy town south of Lecce, but definitely worth a visit. There is a fabulous moated castle in the historic centre.

We ate twice here recently and it was very good on both occasions. The pasta was very light and well made and the pizzas were made using quality, fresh ingredients. (They also do takeaway). The restaurant is beautiful and the staff were extremely friendly and spoke a little English

Beautiful courtyard location with romantic lighting and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The staff were all very friendly and did their best to translate into English for us which was greatly appreciated. The food itself was simple but of a high standard ( the swordfish was excellent). Really lovely village location as well so well worth a visit if you are staying in this part of Salento

Locanda Riccomaggio is a real find! We were staying at b&b DonnaGiulia in Cursi for the second time. Our hostess, Ada, recommended that we try out this place for lunch. She told us that the portions were very generous and all are home cooked. The restaurant is located on a back road outside the village of Cursi. We used our GPS and kept our eyes peeled for signs that showed the direction. We didn't know enough to order only one item. Instead we the apetizer, primo and secondo and without exaggeration, it would have easily fed 5 people!Afterwards the owners son took us around the property showing us all the items that they grow and use in the restaurant. Before leaving he picked a bag full of oranges and lemons for us.We recommend this place highly!!

Typical italian restaurant - south italy (Salento)
The restaurant in a small town of Spongano has outside seating in the piazza in summer, where you can see the locals gather at night and the locals can watch the tourists. The menu is both in English and Italian, and the food was average for the price we paid. Pros - quick service and English menu with local food. Cons - plastic chairs with paper tablecloth, peppers and salt in paper bags, we did not always get the dish we ordered. If you like a fine dining experience, this place is not for you.Hi and thanks for your review. We are a trattoria not a fine dining. Here you Can have an homemade and handcraft experience and making you feel at home without any kind of bling bling. We use paper table cloth and plastic chairs because we have to set the Place up before the service and breaking it down at the end. We are really Sorry if we did not live up your expectations. Thanks for your advice indeed. We Will try to improve
