We went for a girly catch up. One of our party had been before but I hadnât. The menu looked promising but it actually delivered. Wow. Just yummy. I had the âsurf and turfâ which was fillet steak and prawns/mussels. Yum. Loved it. My type of food. The house wine was tip too too

Lunch with friends, excellent service and willingness and attention by staff and chef to adapt main course dishes, with positive results for someone on a restricted diet - not many places we can go and get this sort of response - making for a quality experience.

Went here for the 2nd time with the first time being in March 2019. It was excellent then but this time, went with family (2 families). There were 7 adults in total.RestaurantThe restaurant itself is on a main road and there is a car park nearby which can be used for free in the evenings. There is also on road parking nearby. The premises were clean but quite small compared to some other places I've been to. Nevertheless, the ambience in the restaurant was very good and it did get busy which is a good sign. Staff were excellent and attentive. Marks 10/10Food & drinkWe opted for their small platter and their largest platter so that we had enough for all of us and we ended up having some of it packed to take home as there was so much which is a good in my books. The platters were all freshly prepared and cooked and arrived within 20-25 mins which was a reasonable wait considering how much there was (see pics attached). It was delicious and some of the best Turkish food I have had outside of Turkey itself. I thought I had sampled the best Turkish food in the city as I have been to most of them however, this place was amazing and the best one thus far. Considering it was out of the city, I was not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. They had many items on the menu and all looked excellent and reasonably priced. The platters came with bread and three dips as a starter which was nice. Marks 10/10The drinks were excellent however my only gripe is that they do not have pint glasses - if you are reading this Lara, get some pint glasses in in line with other establishments. Half pints are not good enough and you are ordering drinks again and again which significantly increases the bill - not good!! Marks 7.5/10 on account of the glasses.OverallApart from the size of the glasses, everything else was excellent and I will be returning. I would highly recommend this place as the food is grade A quality. A thoroughly nice evening out.Total mark 9/10

Warm friendly greeting on arrival and our table was ready and waiting.Our waitress Sam was lovely..service with a genuine smile and very friendly which made us feel very welcome.The menu is tapas style and very varied which caters for many tastes and dietry needs; our order came out very hot and tasted great as always..compliments to the kitchen staff.We ordered a sweet and 2 members of staff came to our table with it, and a sparkling candle was with the dessert..they then sang "Happy Birthday" to my wife which was a great personal touch.It was busy and had an excellent atmosphere, but service was spot on.Highly recommended for couples, families or parties alike.Service, Food and atmoshere 5 stars!Thank you for a lovely evening.Hello,Thank you for your amazing 5* review of our restaurant!We are so pleased yourself and your wife enjoyed your time, especially hearing that our staff went the extra mile for you!We will make sure our lovely server Sam is well rewarded for all her hard work.See you soon,The White Horse Team
