Apart of other traditional Italian food, Dal Moro can offer you some first class pizza. All I will say is that we went there two times at our 4 nights stay at Montemerano and one of that times each one had a pizza and we shared one after that :)))

A lovely setting for an amazing lunch/dinner. The eggplant antipasto was beautiful to look at but even more amazing to eat !! I followed with the tortelli stuffed with spinach and ricotta and a ragù . Paper thin and delicate with amazing flavors ! Complementi al cuoca . Family run with love and care !

We visited the place at noon and made a reservation for dinner. It looks like a family-run place. My wife had the aquacorta soup which was very good (vegetables, bread, egg) and I had the bruschetta with garlic and olive oil. For main courses we took pici with tomatoes, olive oil, etc., and tagliatelle with fungi (porcini and other mushrooms). Everything was tasty. There were also locals among the diners. The place is very nicely decorated and our waiter was very kind and helped us selecting our dishes.

The place has been there forever and you can really breath Tuscan tradition here. The food was very good, especially the ravioli. The menu is intriguing with so many attractive options that you really feel sorry having to choose. If you enjoying the magnificence of the surroundings, tasting the spectacular Morellino wine or the Saturnia baths nearby, make sure to stop here. You wonât regret it.

Passaparola deserves 5 stars for the location and three stars for the food. Let's start with the positive. Montemerano is a picture perfect Maremman hilltop village. Passaparola is in a gorgeous old building with a vaulted ceiling and an delightful terrace with a spectacular view of the countryside. Gorgeous! The food instead is a letdown. The menu looks appetizing enough with a number of Tuscan classics and some more more creative variations on the theme. However, the ingredients and the execution are below par. My pici were gummy. My tagliata was one of the worst I've had in Tuscany: the meat was overcooked (I had asked for medium) and had not taste. The rest of my party was disappointed too. The service was friendly and fast. The total was 115 euros for 7 dishes and a glass of red.

On our third visit in 10 years, we pleased to see standards are still high, the atmosphere is still elegant and cosy, and service is as good as it gets.Given its location we chose to stay in one of a few rooms connected to the restaurant and enjoyed breakfast here as well. It's tough to reach, but definitely worth the trip. And, also pleasingly, patronised by Italians, in fact aside from a French couple we appeared to be the only foreigners.A must do for those who want more substance, sophistication in Italian dining, but without the bling and still true to its Tuscan roots. And a wine list to die for - ranging from a deep Burgundy list to Chianti and Brunello as good as it gets. We enjoyed a 1988 Madonna di Piano from Valdicava. Not a year or wine for you find everywhere. And great value.

Visited Bacco & Cerere with colleagues for lunch and the experience was fantastic! From the first taste of the fresh ricotta appetizer (pictured) to all the fresh pasta dishes we sampled right up to the dessert, this was a fantastic culinary experience. We started with the carpaccio and battuta which was probably overkill on the raw meat but both were delicious. We shared 4 of the primis among the table - all were excellent but perhaps the pasta with wild boar was the best. We tasted a local beer (Iris - pictured) which was better than expected.Seems like Bacco & Cerere is basically a husband & wife duo who do everything to make sure you eat well and feel relaxed. The restaurant has ample outdoor seating on an elevated patio - although Saturnia isnât exactly a bustling metropolis, itâs nice to be removed a bit from the action at street level.Restaurant is located right next to the main parking lot just as you arrive in Saturnia so you canât miss it. Evidently, thereâs also a wine store at the ground level which Iâm told has a great selection.

Without a doubt, Nonsolopane was our favorite eatery in Italy. Every day we were in Maremma we started our day at Nonsolopane getting delicious sandwiches and pastries for the day. In addition to delicious food, we received wonderful recommendations for where to go and what to do. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner there also, and had the pleasure of watching the Italy v Germany soccer game. Thank you Nonsolopane for making our time in Maremma so special!

It's a good idea to make a reservation for this popular restaurant in Manciano. We arrived early one evening and were lucky to get a table. We enjoyed a delicious meal in a cosy and fun atmosphere. The host is very warm and attentive and gives great advice on pairing wines or explaining the regional dishes. We had a fantastic antipasto of local cheeses with a choice of wonderful toppings of marmalades or honey. Our main dishes were excellent. We hope to return again some day.

THE RESTAURANT PIU 'ANCIENT MANCIANO We are in Maremma in the province of Grosseto and precisely in the historical center of Manciano but despite this we are within easy reach and we have no parking problems. Our trattoria in the tradition, maintains the
I went to this restaurant with a vegan friend visiting from the US and we had an absolutely incredible meal. Not only were they extremely accommodating but we truly ate the most delicious selection of Tuscan appetizers, first courses and second courses with such fresh local ingredients that we did not even feel overly full at the end. The restaurant is small so call ahead of time, you won't regret it. Amazing, hope to go back soon.
